“Now is time to reverse the curse and denounce the bondage of the sexual revolution. As we humble ourselves with mass repentance we will stand in the gap for our nation and shift its course from perversion to purity. The Roar of the Righteous will be heard again in our land.”
(Nashville, Tennessee)—According to information on The Call’s website, a silent prayer “walk of repentance” will begin the day of July 7th, in Nashville. The walk is scheduled to start at 7am, near the city’s replica of the Parthenon (at Centennial Park Band Shell), and continue the 2.7 miles up Church St. to LP Field in the Titan’s stadium, by about 9am. Article by Bill Muehlenberg- God is doing a new thing
Evangelical Christianity was once found mainly in the West. But no longer. In 1960, there were an estimated 50 million evangelical Christians in the West, and 25 million in the rest of the world; today, there are an estimated 75 million in the
West, and 325 million in the rest of the world (representing about 20 percent of the two billion Christians worldwide). See the whole story here: http://www.crusadewatch.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=593&Itemid=27
God is raising up Christians in the non-Western world to go evangelise in the West. One Third World believer that has been called to Australia to help revive the church is Danny Nalliah. He has a powerful testimony, and I would recommend getting a copy of his biography. See: Biography/Initial Vision tab of this website ttp://www.reformationharvestfire.com/blog/biography/ (more…)
Islamic law is becoming the law of the land in select pockets of Britain.
Though sharia law-the Islamic code of justice-has no legal authority in Britain, some Muslims are sidestepping the English criminal justice system in order to have their cases tried by Islamic judges. “Sharia courts now operate in most larger cities,” said Patrick Sookhdeo, director of the Institute for the Study of Islam and Christianity. “Different sectarian and ethnic groups operate their own courts that cater to their specific needs according to their traditions.” Sookhdeo calls these sharia councils an “alternative parallel unofficial legal system.” (more…)
…He just could not stop talking about Jesus and told me, “I need to get baptized, because Jesus told me to do so!” Â
Sunday 3rd June was a great day for the Kingdom Of God as one of His sons, originally from the Islamic Faith, went through the waters of baptism.
Two years ago I met a Muslim family from Iran living in Australia. When I met them the wife had ‘given her life’ to Jesus. She told me, “I was one of those radical Muslims, but now I have found the Truth in Jesus. I really want my husband also to follow Jesus.” But this did not happen for 2 years, until there was a disagreement in the family 6 weeks ago and the husband left the house. The very first night he left the home, while he was in a room in a refuge at night Jesus appeared to him in a dream, and the rest is history. (more…)
by Christopher Hitchens June 2007.
The London neighborhood of the author’s youth, Finsbury Park, is now one of the breeding grounds for a new phenomenon: the British jihadist. How did a nation move from cricket and fish-and-chips to burkas and shoe-bombers in a single generation?  This article by Christopher Hitchens discusses the disturbing radicalisation of young Muslims in Britain, suggesting that some kind of a show-down is inevitable:
Will Britain become an Islamic society regulated by the shari’a, or will it fight for its right not to become one. Further Photos (more…)
Apr 25, 2007 : National Day of Prayer Task Force
A Proclamation by the President of the United States of America
A prayerful spirit has always been an important part of our national character, and it is a force that has guided the American people, given us strength, and sustained us in moments of joy and in times of challenge. On this National Day of Prayer, we acknowledge God’s grace and ask for His continued guidance in the life of our Nation.
Americans of many faiths and traditions share a common belief that God hears the prayers of His children and shows grace to those who seek Him. Following the tragedy at Virginia Tech, in towns all across America, in houses of worship from every faith, Americans have joined together to pray for the lives that were lost and for their families, friends, and loved ones. Australian readers struggle with some questions would-be Aussies must answer 20 questions from pool of 200 must achieve pass rate of 60 per cent.
NEWS.com.au readers have condemned the Federal Government’s new citizenship quiz after putting themselves to the test today. Many Australian-born readers said that not even they knew the answers to some of the questions the Government wants in the test, which will contain 20 randomly selected questions drawn from a pool of 200.
One reader described it as “idiotic nonsense†and another asked if he should be expelled – or perhaps flogged – for not knowing the name of the nation’s first Prime Minister. (more…)
On Wednesday April 18, 2007, the fledgling Christian community in this nation of 70 million Muslims, suffered a devastating blow, when three of its finest, were brutally murdered for their faith. One German and two other Turkish brothers were found in the print shop, in south central Turkey, where they published and sold Bibles.
They had been tortured, stabbed repeatedly, and bound with their throats slit. Sadly, it was at the hands of five trusted young men, who had claimed to be seekers of our LORD. The murder was skillfully pre-meditated and ruthlessly carried out. Needless to say, as members of the Body, we have been deeply grieved by this terrible tragedy. (more…)

“We applaud the President’s courage in standing up for the Constitution and the principle of equal protection under the law.”
Although the U.S. House of Representatives, Wednesday, approved the controversial “Hate Crimes” bill, the President promised to veto the measure, should it also pass in the Senate.
Dr. James Dobson, founder and chairman of Focus on the Family, welcomed the news from the White House. (more…)
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Below is good news from Iraq, the sort of news you will not see in the secular media. The item comes from ASSIST News Service and if you click on the source at the bottom of the item you will see that it is a Christian news service.
There is an error in it however. Nouri al Malaki is the Prime Minister of Iraq not its President as claimed by ASSIST and “Breaking Christian News”
That aside it would be good for the Federal Opposition leader and his Labor colleagues to read what the Iraqi PM has to say about the current Iraqi situation and his views on the withdrawal of multinational forces from his country.
Please let us join our prayers with those of our fellow Christians who held his hands and prayed for God to do a miracle in that land. With love in Jesus,    Â

LIFE-giving rain has made a welcome return to the vital food-bowl Wimmera Mallee region.
Nobody is brave enough yet to call it drought-breaking, but good falls yesterday and overnight have delivered at least 10mm to most farmland with some areas getting about 25mm, and patches getting even more.
