Thank you so much for your continued hard work to ‘keep Australia Australian for generations to come.’
I agree with your stated policy on immigration ie that we should prioritise persecuted minorities such as Christians, Yazidis and Kurds.
I suggest this policy to as many people as I can but the idea is very slow to get out into the community.
It seems to me to fulfil 2 biblical principles:
1. To overcome evil with good – to welcome those who share our values rather than those who would proselytise Islam ( Rom 12.21)
2. To do good to everyone especially those of the household of faith. (Gal 6 10)
I am wondering if RUAP could have a more concerted campaign. It is a stated aim on the Immigration and Border control website. I want to make sure that it stays a priority.
Suggestions:
1 Give RUAP members and others specific actions that they can take, for example, a sample letter that can be sent to politicians. (I have just emailed Peter Dutton to ask on progress)
2 Start a petition
3 More Facebook posts – stories of those suffering persecution – reasons why these people need help and why they would be good for our country.
4 Start a list of agencies, churches and groups who would aid the settlement of these people.
Please help us help the persecuted, especially Christians, our country and RUAP.
