Reconciliation Assignment – Great Success on Palm Island, QLD

Group Photo of Intercessors in Townsville after time of prayers over our nationDear family & friends in Christ,Prayer, Repentance & Reconciliation Mission in Townsville & Palm Island, QLD

We thank and praise God for opening the doors for the CTFM team to visit Palm Island, QLD on a very special God given assignment to bring Reconciliation & Healing in between Indigenous peoples and others who have called Australia home.

A group of 21 intercessors led by Pastor Daniel from CTFM arrived in Townsville, QLD and then proceeded to Palm Island on the ferry on Thursday 20th March.  The group was joined by intercessors in Townsville led by Indigenous Pastor David Gela and the whole team set sail to Palm Island.

Right throughout the 2 hours the ferry rocked with worship, prayer and intercession over the waters of Australia. There was intense prayer and repentance for all the wrong we have done in our nation in the past, followed by much more prayer and prophetic declarations for the future.

As the ferry arrived in Palm IsWashing of the Indigenous Leaders feet and asking for forgivnessland it started to pour down with rain.  The Island’s Indigenous Elders were waiting for us and welcomed us on their land.Uniting as one

Later that day at the meeting for Reconciliation, the CTFM team washed the feet of several Indigenous people and asked them forgiveness for the wrong done to their forefathers.  As we humbled ourselves and washed their feet, there were many tears of love & joy.

Many of the Indigenous Elders stated, “We have never had the white man wash our feet.”  They were absolutely shocked.

One elder stated, “When the former PM Kevin Rudd said sorry, we were happy, but we knew that it was more a political statement.  However, what you people have done has brought real love and healing to our community. Thank you so much for coming all the way.”

Pr Daniel ministeringThen, we all stood in a circle and sang “Bind us together, Lord bind us together.”  As we started singing this song, the rain started to pour very heavily again and continued until we left.  Since the Island had not received hardly any rain for a long time, the people on the island called it ‘an act of God’.Humbling ourselves before the Lord praying for healing in the land of Australia

Yes, indeed, it was definitely the hand of God.  In Deuteronomy 28:12, the Word of God speaks specifically speaks of God sending the rain as a blessing when He is pleased with His people.  Isn’t that amazing. Glory to God.

“May the Lord open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand.”

Pastor Veronica who is an Indigenous Pastor stated, “It has not been raining for so long, we praise God for the rain. Last night I stayed up all night listening to the rain. This is definitely the blessing of God to say that He is very pleased with what happened on the Island.”

Pr Daniel had a word for an Anglo Saxon lady and then she gave her heart to Jesus. Then he prayed and prophesied over her. Praise God she happened to be the Police Chief on the Island. She was mightily touched.

On Saturday the 22nd of March, many gathered around Australia around the coastlines to pray over our nation and the waters. Glory to God it was a mighty day with many testimonies.  Many beaches were covered with prayer, repentance and worship right around Australia.  In Townsville, Pr Daniel led the prayer time with around 50 people.  It was so powerful as people stormed heaven crying out for our Great South Land of the Holy Spirit.

Pr Daniel stated, “It has been a great weekend. We have done a lot of damage to the kingdom of darkness.  Now, we need to rise up and possess the land in Jesus name. I thank God for the faithful prayer warriors. A big thank you to my team, especially the ones who went a week ahead and prayed over the land and prepared the way for us to come.  We are trusting God to see Australia for Jesus by 2020.”

Pr Daniel also spoke in several church services where people from 20 churches attended. He also did several radio interviews. We will send the links to you as soon as they’re available.

We thank and praise God, for we know the coming of the Lord is at hand.

We spent time praying, repenting, and seeking God near Magic Mountain (Gold Coast) for the nation of Australia and for our own walk with God. It was indeed a very precious time. We prayed at 4.00pm on the 22nd of March as family commitments prevented us praying at 10.00am. May we see the hand of God move. Anna & Lee

Greetings from Darwin!!! 11 Prayer Warriors from Pentecostal and Charismatic Catholic churches, and some Christians of Indigenous heritage, met at Lee Point Beach, our northernmost beach in Darwin, on Saturday morning, 22nd March. Pastor Merv Westbrook and his wife Joy from the Christian Outreach Centre led us in prayer as we prayed for protection over our coastlines and in repentance for the ways in which our beautiful oceans have been misused over the centuries in bringing harm to peoples in our Great South Land of the Holy Spirit. We felt a very strong sense of Peace and the Lord’s Presence as we prayed from 9.30am until 10.30am, to be in unison with the teams on the East Coast, since we are half an hour behind here in the NT. (We did send some photos from our phones, but maybe they didn’t come through. Never mind, God heard us!! )
Blessings, Jan and RUA team in Darwin

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

On Tuesday 18 March I sent you all an email requesting prayer cover for Pastor Daniel Nalliah and a team from Catch The Fire Ministries as they intended to conduct a prayer, repentance, and reconciliation assignment with the churches and peoples on Palm Island, NQld on Thursday 20 March. On Friday 21 March I sent you a reminder of Pastor Daniel’s earlier call for prayer on the beaches of Australia on Saturday morning 22 March.

Thank you to all of you who were able at short notice to answer those calls to prayer.

Below is a great report from Catch The Fire Ministries on those two events. All glory to our gracious, faithful Lord for what He did in and through those events.

Please note that Pastor Daniel cried out to the Lord to open His good storehouse, the heavens, and pour out rain in season. Since the week-end a rain trough has been moving down the Queendland coast from the north, pouring down rain in quantities, the likes of which we did not receive during this unusually dry summer. The trough has reached here where I live in the Sunshine Coast hinterland 100km north of Brisbane, and between 9.30am and 2.30pm today 110 mm of rain has fallen in my rain gauge. That make a total of 180 mm since Tuesday night, which is just a few millimetres short of the total rain we have received between 1 January and 25 March 2014.

Thank You Lord for Your mercy toward us here in coastal Queensland.

But there has only been scattered lighter falls on the grazing and farming lands and communities to the west of the Great Dividing Range, the 80% of Queensland suffering severe drought.

Would you please join me in standing in the gap before the Lord for that whole region, to confess and repent of our sins, and the generational sins of all our peoples in that region, before and after the coming of the white man, and to cry out to the Lord to hear our cries, forgive our sin, and heal our land. (2 Chronicles 7: 13-14)

    With love in Christ Jesus,

    Hi Daniel,

I just wanted to personally THANK YOU for all you are doing for our Lord and the establishment of His purified church and Kingdom in Australia.

I wept when I saw the Palm Island videos, as all you have done is so in accord with God’s heart. THANK YOU!

I sent the following email to people on my network also – have included it below for your encouragement.

This is Awesome! Praise Jesus! I know this link below is included in the CTFM newsletter but felt to separate it out so you don’t miss it as it is such an encouragement and I believe fully represents God’s heart for our indigenous people so well.

Palm Island is also such a key gateway to our nation; it is important that God’s mercy, grace, peace and restoration of relationships is established here.
May our Sovereign Lord Yahveh continue to provide Divine protection, anointing and blessing over Pastor Daniel and his family and ministry.

    love and blessings,

    Glenda

    FYI Friends.

Some of you have received this email and another I previously forwarded concerning the Forgiveness & Reconciliation event which took place on Palm Is. last weekend. God’s approval seemed evident with a good needed rainfall upon the island. It appears that Ministries have different mandates to fulfill by various leadings of The Holy Spirit to not only speak the true Gospel of Jesus Christ but to exemplify in actions, the Ways of God’s Spirit and His Love.

Pastor Daniel is ‘Taking the Word’ to Judea (outside of Dandenong), The Mountain of Religion/Missions and also to the Mountain of Government, PM Tony Abbor, to speak for the Australian people (who can’t say anything) and for the church on our behalf; that WE want to possess our Rights of Freedom of Speech which he and Daniel Scot defended for 5 years in Court battles. God’s favour upon them gave US the victory. I honour Pastor Daniel Nalliah, who is a human vessel with flaws not unlike mine; but who has the intestinal fortitude Love, and power of Holy Spirit to persevere and try, try, try again, just like Robert Bruce, (who hid in a cave like Elijah,) before running to battle & Victory, for his country!

Can WE honour this request, for the sake of our Indigenous and non indigenous peoples, to ‘keep praying for the Federal Govt. to PASS the proposed Law for Freedom of Speech’ for OUR’s and Our nation’s sakes, irrespective of what denomination we are? God will command the Blessing upon united Brethren. Blessings with Love, Hazel.

    Hi Ps Danny,

Here is one of the photos taken following the praise and worship in thanksgiving to Our Lord for this great land we live in and the prayers of repentance for the unfair treatment of others in our blessed land from some who have arrived on our shores over past years.

We met on our Northernmost beach in Darwin on Saturday morning 22nd March, facing the direction where any threat may come from (and where it did come from during the bombing of Darwin in the second world war), and prayed at the same time you would have been praying in Queensland and we really felt the presence of God in our midst and a feeling of great peace.

We thought we would get very hot and sunburned at that time of day, but a heavy, black and protective cloud came over and covered us for the duration of the prayers, as seen in the photos, and we felt this represented God’s protection over Australia.

Here we are listening to Ps Merv – (head bent in straw hat) – leading us in intercessory prayer for Australia.

Above him (very small, in the distance) is a bird with it’s wings bent over in the same position as Marjorie saw the dot-painting of the bird representing the Holy Spirit in her vision – with one wing bent over and touching one horizon and the other wing touching the other horizon, symbolizing the Holy Spirit’s protection over the Great South Land of the Holy Spirit. (We had this book with us as feel these prophecies about the great revival in our Land are about to be fulfilled.)

Bye for now and God Bless,

    Jan

    Brothers and sister in Christ

I am a born again christian living now in the Uk. I am originally French from ile de la Reunion. I would like to share a dream with you. Last week, I dreamed I was in Australia and was boasting about the beauty of this country and a man stopped and told me: not so, haven’t you heard about Queensland being under the water. I was perplexed and carried on walking with my own children and looked around and realised that it wasn’t so beautiful. As we walked, we saw coming towards us flying scorpions everywhere, they had white dots on them and my daughter and I were trying to avoid them. We wanted to leave this country to return home. I believe this is a dream from God and he is warning your nation that they ought to repent quickly and return to the Lord. Please let those who love God, Jesus seek the Lord about this. I would not normally write on Internet like this, but this is burning on my heart. I am praying for you. Those who don’t know Christ, please acknowledge him and repent for the wrath of God is kindled. I am writing as my conscience will not be ok if I don’t. I don’t know when these events shall be, but repent and seek the Lord. We know God can be touched when we seek him. Intercede for the inhabitants of Queensland specially.

    With love, sister Nadia
