I have attached an URGENT VoxAlert about an important issue that is likely to be raised in Tony Abbott’s federal Coalition party room next Monday or Tuesday (10-11 February 2014).

There will be some pressure on Tony Abbott and others to change the party policy that affirms the natural man-woman meaning of marriage.  The proposed change would allow every Coalition MP and senator to vote whichever way he or she wishes. 

However, marriage – in its natural man-woman meaning since the beginning of human history – is fundamental to this nation’s well-being.  It should be party policy, not a “conscience” vote.

Please read the attached VoxAlert, with a list of email addresses for all Coalition MPs and senators in your state or territory.  Let them know your concerns – by Monday if at all possible.
