National Prayer Assault Great Success on Mt Ainslie and Other High Places

Prayer Warriors Interceeding For Australian GovernmentPs Daniel leading National Prayer Assault on Mt Ainslie in Canberra, AustraliaDear family & friends in Christ,

It is with great joy and excitement we bring you this wonderful report regarding the National Prayer Assault on Mount Ainslie in Canberra and 20 plus mountains across Australia!

We believe that Saturday the 14th of August 2010 was a day of history making in the Spirit for our nation as thousands of Christians around Australia stormed heaven in intercessory prayer for the upcoming Federal Election, repenting of sin on behalf of the Church and the nation, asking God to heal our land.

There were Christians gathered on many mountains, churches, homes and parks all across our Great South Land of the Holy Spirit to unite as one in the Lord Jesus Christ to pray for His righteousness to exalt our nation!

Following are some of the places we have a record of where people prayed: Central Coast Gosford, Penshurst, Sugarloaf Mountain in Newcastle, Brown Mountain in Bega Valley, Kellyville, Ryde (between Sydney City and the Blue Mountains), Brown Mountain in Bega Valley (NSW), Kyabram, Boort, Burwood, Hallam, Mildura, Mount William in the Grampians (VIC) Toowoomba (QLD), Darwin, Middleton, Kangaroo Island (SA), Victoria/Daly District, Darwin (NT), Kalgoorlie, (WA), Hobart (TAS), Mt Ainslie (ACT), overseas in Singapore and other nations. Every state and territory was covered in prayer.

Hundreds of Christians from 20 cities and towns across Australia gathered on top of Mount Ainslie in Canberra to pray from 10am – 12pm on Saturday 14th August. They came from Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Newcastle, Young, Merimbula, Bega, Cootamundra, Culcairn, Gosford, Griffith and many other places across Australia. There were Christians from 35 different churches, which included Catholic Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Anglican, Evangelical, Pentecostal, Charismatic, and others.  It was also very encouraging to see that these prayer warriors represented 40 different nationalities, all who are now Australians and call Australia home.

The prayer operation was a great success. Pastor Daniel led the meeting along with many other Pastors who were there. There was powerfully anointed praise and worship led from the back of an open truck which was used as a stage by brother Peter Madden from Sydney. Christians were weeping and repenting of the sins of the Church and the nation. As the crowd increased the police arrived, blocked the street and diverted the traffic, as many kneeled on the street, some lying prostrate and crying to the Lord.  Many others waved banners, played their tambourines and danced in the presence of the Lord.

There were moments of high praise as the people shouted in Hebrew ‘RUA, RUA, RUA’ which means in Hebrew ‘God has given us victory over our enemies’!  Then the shofars blasted from every direction with claps and shouts of joyful proclamation that Jesus is the reigning King of kings and LORD of lords!

Many commented that they had never seen anything like this in Australia in all their life. Yes, indeed it was a day of history making for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Even though the weather was very cold, nothing could stop the brave prayer warriors from storming heaven in prayer. Glory to God, even though there were many rain clouds, the Lord held the rain back so that we could carry out our spiritual warfare prayer assignment.

There were around a dozen homosexual activists, Australian Sex Party members and a few atheists, but they were all very silent, unlikely to the spiritual warfare prayer assignment on Mount Ainslie last year in October. Praise God that the main guy who opposed us last year, a local Satanist leader, is now a born-again Christian who is in regular contact with Pastor Daniel.

Pastor Daniel stated, “I want to personally thank every single person who joined us in prayer from across Australia and a special thank you to all who sacrificed and made the trip to Canberra to be on Mt Ainslie. All of you are true soldiers of the Cross. With this new breed of prayer warriors rising up all across Australia, I am sure we are going to see our nation come back to Jesus. I am so proud of all you wonderful people who responded to the PRAYER CALL for our nation’s transformation!”

Several national newspapers reported on the prayer assault including, The Sunday Canberra Times (15th August) which published an article (and photo) titled Hundreds throng Mt Ainslie for ‘prayer offensive’.  Click the following link to read the Canberra Times article.

We believe that we have dealt a heavy blow to Satan’s kingdom and are hoping for a righteous outcome this Saturday 21st August at our Federal Election.

Please note that this Thursday the 19th to Saturday the 21st August is 3 days of fasting and prayer. I am sure you will join with us to storm heaven once again for the Federal Election.

    Shalom,

Time to rejoice. Christians are starting to come alive and take the fight to the enemy who is an all time loser. The only victories he has is when we Christians do not stand up and proclaim the power we have been given and prayer fervently.

Glory to Yahweh and Yeshua our Messiah.

Hi Ps Daniel and CTFM Team.

Wow!! We had the most amazing prayer meeting. I was hoping to join you in Canberra but those who were keen pulled out last week so I thought we would at least pray up here. I contacted the Newcastle Rise Up team and they said that they would meet us there. What a blessing!! Then God had other churches praying up there as well!!

I am so excited to tell you that God brought 50 intercessors to pray together on Mount Sugarloaf this morning. There was an anointed worship leader with a guitar, beautiful banners flying, shofars blowing and passionate mighty prayers prayed in unity for our country. We took communion together to begin. Followers of Jesus from 8 different churches came together in love and one mind.

ONLY GOD could have orchestrated the beautiful time together that was experienced. I am so thankful to God and thankful to all who took part.

JESUS IS AMAZING AND HE IS LORD OVER THIS NATION!!!

    Love and blessings,

    Michelle

    All

I can’t adequately express my love for Jesus. But this I know, there is a call for all of us as the body of Christ to step out of the church we go to, its building and shelter; step away from our ministry and for some, even outside of their geographical state to stand together and demonstrate to this lost and hurting world that we believe what we say we believe.

The gathering today was cold but hearts were warm. A truck was provided to worship from and to use as a platform for prayer. Banners expressed the hearts of those who came – “Keep marriage between a man and a woman” – “Australia my beloved” – “Jesus” – and “Vote in a Christian Prime Minister”.

Some men danced, others worshipped with flags but all 300 came from many different churches around the nation to express their concerns for the coming election and to intercede together for this nation to turn back to its destiny of “Australia for Jesus”.

Bless those who came and others, be encouraged to step out and to be seen publicly for Jesus and to stand with others that you don’t have in your local fellowship.

Blessings and praise to Jesus, the only name that saves!!

    Hi Daniel,

Our Kangaroo Island RUA pray group will be meeting Saturday morning at the same time that you are meeting on Mt Ainslie, so we will be with you in the Spirit.

We have about a dozen people meeting monthly.

    God bless you

    Malcolm

  11. Annie

The Elim Church of the Central Coast Gosford, NSW, will be with you on the 14th, praying on Kincumber mountain.

Prayers will be headed by our Pastor, Martin & members of the congregation. I would appreciate it if they can be covered in prayer by your prayer team.

As for myself, I, with Christian & Lisa, Angela, Cass, & Sue will be heading down to Mount Ainslie to join you in prayer for this nation & the coming election.

We at Elim since knowing about the election, have been praying fervently for God’s divine intervention in this matter, asking & petitioning that this country be lead by a person of integrity, pure moral standings, & who will seek God in all things.
We put our trust in the Lord & know that whatever the outcome, God’s will be done…Amen.

May the Spirit of God ignite our hearts to pour out love over this nation & let the spirit of the Lord be as a burning fire throughout this land, bringing revival & hope to those who languish & thirst, that they may be renewed by the river of living waters & by the power of God’s consuming passion & love for them.

    Yours in Christ,

    Annie

    Hi Pastor Daniel & Jason,

My husband & I are currently in Port Macquarie and will be leaving tomorrow afternoon to travel to Canberra to join you at Mt. Ainslie on Saturday morning.

I well remember last October’s meeting. I was not at all well but was eager to give it my all that sunny afternoon. Under my breath I kept repeating to myself “Jesus went to the cross for me. I can do this for Him”.

In May this year, I underwent an operation in Sydney. A well- respected neurosurgeon put a shunt in my head to enable the fluid that gathers in my ventricles to be pumped down to my tummy. (A VP shunt).

After 5 weeks in hospital and re-hab, I attended a follow-up appointment with the neurologist. At our request, his specialist nurse, who had filmed me doing what I could (or more accurately couldn’t) do on the eve of the operation, agreed to bring forward a 3 month assessment. Both of them were amazed and overjoyed at the progress I had made. I kept muttering “It’s all Jesus, nothing to do with me”.

We are not daily users of our lap-top but I make sure I check our emails at least once a week. I literally ‘hang out’ to read what Jesus is doing in, with and through Catch the Fire Ministries. I am so excited that there are 2 buses coming this time. WOW.

My husband, Michael, and I want to encourage you in all that you do.

Again, as we turn our faces to Canberra, we continue to pray that Jesus will have the glory once again.

    Looking forward to seeing you.

    Annie and Michael

  13. Debbie

    Dear Danny and Team,

I just wish to advise you that a team of people from different churches will be meeting at the high place here in Mildura on this Sat 14th Aug between 10am to 12pm at the same time that you are at Mt. Ainslie.

If you have a prayer strategy like you did last time, we would be grateful if you could send it to us.

May the Lord bless you mightily in all you do,

    Debbie

  14. Cecily

    Dear Pastor Danny,

Just to let you know that some of us from the C3 church here in Gosford will be gathering on President Hill on the 14th at 10a.m. to join in this big challenge in which the Lord is allowing us all to be part.

    His be the Victory!

    Yours in His Grace,

    Cecily

  15. Pastors Lynton & Rose

    Dear Pastor Daniel

Just to let you know we will be holding 24 hours of prayer and fasting on Aug 13th & 14th for the Federal election in the City of Ryde, NSW. We will pray together with you, on Sat 14th from 10am to 12 noon at a high place over the city of Ryde (one of the highest points between Sydney City and the Blue Mountains) and yes, we do appreciate you covering us in prayer as well.

We are very proud to have one of our church members standing as a candidate for Bennelong for the CDP Party. Her name is Julie Worsley. Bennelong was John Howard’s seat which he lost to Labour’s Maxine McKew at the last election, primarily on Greens preferences. It is now classed as a marginal seat.

We have been active in informing our congregation that the church must ‘wake up’ and pray and vote for the Christians. We especially need a Christian in the Senate and the Greens to not get the balance of power.

We are looking forward to having you come and minister on the 18th and 19th September, and we would like to discuss the details of this with you soon.

    Yours sincerely in Christ

We will also join in the fasting and prayer from the 19th to the 21st August.

    Blessings Jill

  17. Rob & Robyn

    Dear Danny,

We will be unable to come to Mt Ainslie as we did last time, we will be praying on Friday afternoon (20th) at 430pm on Brown Mountain, at the Pipers lookout, which overlooks a fair amount of the Bega Valley, if you know of anyone in the area please feel free to let them know.

Yours in Christ Rob and Robyn (Gospel Fellowship)

  18. Jan

  21. Mary

Well done guys, great turn out. Today this atheist asked me “If God is all knowing, does know what he is about to think next?”

So i shut him down with this silver bullet “God has a will for all of us, if your stumped with a question based on poor atheist logic, then you just need to search in the bible for your answers as God says MANY times, if only you could be bothered reading. Even Einstien new the value of reading”

  22. Beth

Thought you’d be encouraged to receive this email sent from Israel.

I was also with a group last saturday attending a Solemn Assembly at Frankston Jubilee Church called for by Healing Rooms but sent to all churches in Frankston. We too concentrated on prayer for elections and the nation, including repentance.

One of those present had a vision of Tony Abbott kneeling with a cross and being anointed! May we all pray that this come to pass!

Blessings to you faithful ones, Beth

  23. Glenda

Love it! Thanks to everyone at Catch the Fire Ministries – being the true Body of Jesus and taking this nation by ‘storm’ as He has promised to do (ie. with His eye-catching speed, power and might, threshing out every form of wickedness).

    Blessings, Glenda

  24. Florence

    Dear Pastor Danny Nalliah,

Thank you for organising the prayer at Mount Ainslie last Saturday.

My girlfriend Carol and I went to the Mobbs Hill in Carlingford, NSW to pray.

Mobbs Hill is the highest point in my area, is a busy place and situation next to a main road and two blocks of units.
I prayed for God’s angels to keep the people away for the two hours we were there.

We knelt and prostrate before the Lord in worship and prayer.

Although we heard a lot of voices but none of the people came near us.

When we finished praying just after 12noon, we stood up and noticed multitudes of cars, people and police cars in front of us but everyone stayed in the car park. We were only a few steps from the car park!

We praise the Lord for guarding us so that we could join all of you to magnify our great God, to repent and intercede for our nation to have a godly government and a man of god to be the PM.

This Thursday (tomorrow) we will join Jesus’ Calls Prayer Tower in Liverpool to pray from 6pm Thurs to 6am Saturday for the election. I have sent your prayer letter to them to distribute to all who are taking part in the fasting and prayer for our election.

Take care and may the Lord continue to bless you with authority,

    Florence

  25. Sharon

    Dear Brian & Ps. Danny,

Just wanted to encourage you both about prayer for the federal election. We had 24/7 prayer held at Lighthouse Church in Wollongong from 8.30am 18/8 to 19/8. I arrived at 1am and prayed with a few till 4am this morning. Others came and then prayed after we left.

Areas of prayer included: righteousness, cleansing of sin/corruption/evil in all levels of govt., that the “saints” would be catapulted into positions of influence and that their advice and counsel would be sought. That political correctness would cease to have any effect and that the media’s influence would not sway voters. We prayed that people would be shaken before they voted, in order to make an informed decision. We prayed that every voter aged 18 and over would know that they had made the right decision in their vote for candidate and party. We asked the Lord to forgive Julia Gillard for her actions on Kevin Rudd and that she and her partner would find salvation. We prayed that Tony Abbott would trully find the Lord and not religion. We prayed that over the year, people would begin to think about the meaning of life and about eternal life. We prayed that many would come to church and salvation would come to Australia, in Jesus’ mighty name.

We prayed against curses being made over Canberra (Mt Ainslie) from witches. We came against witchcraft, Masonry, paganism, humanism and atheism. 2 of us independently had the full armour of God (Ephesians 6) at the same time. So at about 3am, we specifically prayed from the Word of God – over the saints in government. We prayed the Word of God over these saints. We asked that they would not attack opponents in politics but be reminded that we are fighting the principles and powers in heavily realms and that there are strongholds over people, that need to be broken (not flesh and blood). Then we prayed specifically for “saints” in politics to be raised up and who would openly declare truth. We prayed on the full armour as directed from the Word of God and led by the Holy Spirit. We prayed that Godly politicians would boldly speak out and that the sword of the Spirit, would piece through policies, programs, people etc and convict sin where needed. We prayed that as the saints in politics spoke on any area, that the Spirit of God would be speaking through them.

We prayed that parliament’s prayer would remain and that the saints would be seen, openly praying in the halls of Parliament House. That these saints would pray with people who needed to be convicted of sin and set free. We prayed that people would be healed and that miracles would be witnessed in Parliament House. Great Southland of the Holy Spirit.

Thankful for Jesus for hearing our prayers. We are looking forward to seeing God’s plan in action.

    YIC,

    Sharon Cousins

  28. Graeme

    Hi Jason

This is great news. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be there but faith without works is dead. I took the opportunity to hand out “How to vote Liberal” flyers at the Pre-polling NBooth in Woden ans was there from 9:00 am to 12:30 PM

I also believe that the Prayer contributed to the fact, as announced on the Sunday Morning News Broadcast that Tony Abbott had regained the lead in the opinion polls. More prayer is now required as they swung back the other way the next day. All day prayer meetings on election day would be good as long as people have the chance to be excused for time while they go and vote (Liberal).

    God bless

    Graeme

Wow I am amazed and Praise God for all who stood in the gap for our nation! I had no idea this happened, I received my introduction to Pastor Daniel via a forwarded email letter that he wrote a month or so ago about “God’s man for our country”. I live on the side of a mountainous volcano that could do with some Holy Spirit Fire, and would have been a great addition to the mountains of prayer. I hope to pay attention to this website from now on. Thankyou Awesome God for the encouragement from seeing our nations prayer warriors being great torches on mountain tops!!! May God’s Great and awesome will come about through this election, and may the blinded Christians have their eyes opened and come to their senses on who to vote for.
    Blessings

  33. David

    Dear Pastor Danny,

I attach a simple form of prayer ‘from scripture’ for you reference and possible use, incorporating powerful words from Psalm 2 – extremely relevant for our Nation at this time.

    Your sincerely, David

    Prayer

Sovereign Lord, You made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them. You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of Your servant, the Psalmist David:

    “Why do the nations rage
and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth take their stand
    and the rulers gather together
    against the Lord
    and against His Anointed One.” ( Ps.2 1: 1,2 )

In this our Nation, some candidates aspiring to represent us in our Federal Parliament, as individuals and others joining together in organisations, are standing against Your holy servant Jesus, Your anointed one.

They are intending to lead our people in ways which are contrary to Your Word.

In their policies and personal lives some of these candidates oppose Your way and Your principles of living and Your principles of government which You have instructed us all to observe.

And now, Lord, observe their intentions, threats and strategies and bring those which oppose Your way to nought.

We ask, believing as we pray, that all our people at this time and all our representatives in Parliament are drawn to follow You and choose Life.

Give us, Your servants, great wisdom to maintain and enhance the Christian heritage of our Nation and with courage to speak Your Word fearlessly, encouraging all our people to follow You – while You stretch Your Hand to heal and cause miraculous signs and wonders to be performed throughout our Land

    – through the name of Your holy servant, Jesus.

    …..From Acts 4:24-30

[The whole of Psalm 2 (quoted above), and other portions of God’s Word significant in establishing the direction of our Nation may be read at this time.]

The curse of the gibeonites cannot be removed until the aborigines forgive the people of the land
Prayer is good but innocent blood has been spilt on the land their blood is crying for justice. God is almighty but he will not remove the curse until the aborigines forgive us. Sadly the australian churches seem to be focusing on the demons all the time and forgetting that in some areas it is God who has withdrawn his blessing because innocent blood has been spilt and unless the aborigines forgive us nothing is going to change

    God bless
