Dear friends and family in Christ,

1) Wow, what an amazing weekend in the Spirit of the Lord we experienced at Catch the Fire Ministries with the visit of Brother Yun from the Chinese Underground Church! 

The building was absolutely packed on the Friday night with so many people coming from many churches, denominations, and different places that we had to close the doors to the building as there just wasn’t enough room to accommodate everyone! Approximately 800 people attended over the two meetings on the Friday night and Saturday morning. 

A wonderfully culturally diverse team of six people travelled with Br Yun from China, Finland and America.  Firstly, a well known sister from America previously known as Evie ministered in song in her beautiful soprano voice telling of the goodness and love of Jesus, our Mighty King! Then a brother who interpreted for Br Yun spoke of the Back to Jerusalem Ministry, colouring his talk with many heart-warming and emotional testimonies of salvations and changed lives of humble God needy people.

Then the grand finale was when Brother Yun came up to speak!  Such a humble but God centred man!  He spoke of his persecuted life and leaving all for Jesus.  He stated that there were many nameless people in the Bible describing the 70 who were sent out to preach the gospel, cast out demons, and heal the sick.  He explained that it doesn’t matter who you are, you can be used by God.

Then it was time for the prayer ministry to begin!  A Holy Ghost pandemonium ensued as unnecessary chairs were moved  away and crowds surged forward for deep soaking and commissioning prayers.  Brother Yun’s call was for those willing to suffer anything, even death for Jesus as he explained in the past during much persecution he had said to the Lord “I’m ready to die for You”.  As Brother Yun prayed for people, he often would take their hands, drop to his knees pulling them into the same position of humbleness and consecration, while he prayed (with them more than for them), supplicating the Father for His mighty touch and power, and all this would finish with a wonderful often tearful Jesus hug for all involved!

The Friday night meeting finished at around 11.30pm while Br Yun still continued to pray with those still hungry for a mighty touch from the Healer, Deliverer and Saviour of the their souls. 

Such meetings do not really end, they just dwindle down to a holy hum of prayers and worship  as people gradually leave overflowing with full and expectant hearts ready to move and grow into the changes Jesus has already made in their spirits, preparing them for the future glory works for the harvest of the King!

2) Keep praying for Pastor Daniel and the team of 60 people from CTFM who are preparing the way for the King of Glory to return to Jerusalem, Israel!

3) For those of you in the Melbourne area, the Rise Up Australia prayer meeting begins at 7:30pm this Friday 4th June followed by an all night prayer meeting until 6am on Saturday morning. Come join prayer warriors from many denominations and churches across Melbourne as we unite as the Body of Christ to prayerfully seek the Lord for Australia’s revival and transformation in this Great South Land of the Holy Spirit!

Our weekly youth service is at 5pm on Saturday 5th June.
 
Our weekly worship services are this Sunday 6th June at 9:30am and 6:30pm.
