I’m sure that most of you would be aware that some parts of NSW are currently under threat from bushfires.
CTFM is urgently calling all Christians across our nation to unite in prayer with other believers today at midday wherever you are to prayerfully seek the Lord for the much needed rain and appropriate winds from heaven to protect NSW from any further disaster.
13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.“ 2 Chronicles 7:13-14
This morning we woke up to the news that possibly hundreds of homes have been lost with many properties destroyed. We thank God that there are no reported casualties at this time.

Pr Daniel received several telephone calls and personally spoke to one of the RUA prayer coordinators in NSW who asked him for urgent prayer cover.
Pr Daniel also spoke to another pastor friend of his living in the Newcastle area that has to evacuate his home last night as instructed by the State Emergency Services and Police. Thank God that his property and home are safe as he has now returned there, but has been told to be alert and on standby.

The demise of the Labor party in Victoria is a result of the pernicious abortion laws in this state.

That’s the statement from Catch the Fire Ministries president Rev Dr Daniel Nalliah who said the legalised killing (Murder) of the most helpless and voiceless humans amongst us resulted in God’s intervention to remove the Labor party from power in Victoria.

“According to the last Australian census, most people in our nation believe that there is a God above who watches down upon us. If this is true, which I know for a fact it is, He certainly has shown us in Victoria that He will not turn a blind eye against a government that legalised the killing (Murder) of the most helpless and voiceless humans amongst us,†Pastor Nalliah said.

“Over the last several years, tens of thousands of God-fearing and bible-believing Christians across Australia have prayed and tried their best to stop this horrible law from legalising the killing of babies up to birth, through the seven months and over abortion laws, which should be called the worst form of murder,†he said.

“However a very anti-Christian government with 80+ percent of its members voted in favour of the bill that went through State Parliament, and became law in October 2008.

“Soon after that a clear sign of God’s providential hand of conditional protection lifting off our nation (2 Chronicles 7:13-14) was seen during the 2009 bush fires which destroyed much land, homes and many precious lives. Did God kill them? The answer is a BIG NO! However, if you kick God out of Government, law, and order, and start killing His precious creations in the womb, which is supposed to be the most secure place for the little ones, then you have to expect an open door for the devil’s deathly destruction.

Over the last weekend Pr Daniel was ministering in Canberra where the Spirit of God has been moving mightily over the past few months, ever since he ministered at the New Connection Church in February earlier this year.

The Catch the Fire meetings were great with many people healed, delivered, set free, and mightily challenged to Rise Up for Jesus!
One young lady received deliverance from demonic spirits at the Holy Spirit meetings. She told Pr Daniel that she was being tormented by the devil, but glory to God she was set free.

Pr Daniel along with 15 intercessory prayer warriors from Canberra carried out another prayer offensive from four different points around the Federal Parliament building on Saturday morning the 28th August.

They started praying from the Foundation Stone right in front of Parliament, then proceeded to the place where the Magna Carta is documented (our links to the British), from there to Reconciliation Point and finished off at Red Hill, where you find engraved on iron the whole Parliament structure, over looking the Parliament building.

After this the whole prayer team shouted out in Hebrew RUA, RUA, RUA (Rise Up Australia) meaning – God has given us victory over our enemies! This was a further spiritual warfare assault on the powers of darkness to see God’s righteous government established in Australia.

It is so great to be back home in Australia. I am sure we all know that there is no place like home. Our time in Israel, Jordan, Sri Lanka & Malaysia was fantastic. While I was in Sri Lanka I heard the shocking news that Kevin Rudd was no longer the PM but Julia Gillard had taken the top job.

I received many emails asking me what I thought about it and what’s going to happen to Australia with a self confessed Atheist as Prime Minister.  Sorry for not getting back to you before, but I was so very busy since returning from overseas and have also been reading many articles about this issue and seeking God’s wisdom before making any comments.

As you all know by now I tell people, ‘what they need to hear and not what they like to hear.’  Let’s give credit where it is due. Unlike Kevin Rudd, at least PM Gillard has been honest in telling the people that she DOES NOT BELIEVE IN GOD.  However, is this the beginning of the end for Australia ?? This will depend on how you vote at the next election which could be anytime between now and November 2010.

In October 2009 we at CTFM carried out a spiritual warfare prayer assignment with the help of many other prayer warriors on Mt Ainslie in Canberra and around 30 other mountains across the country. We specifically prayed for rain, the breaking of the drought and that there would be no major bush fires. Then we stretched our hands over federal parliament and prayed for ungodly leaders in parliament to be removed and righteousness to be restored. My ministry team and I are praying for a ‘Damascus road salvation experience’ for him, also like the former Satanist on Mount Ainslie in Canberra who surrendered his life to Jesus. Derryn could very well be another Saul, who became Paul. When you listen to this broadcast, please do not get mad with him, but pray for him.
Yes, at times the interview was very heated, but I thank God that He has given me broad shoulders to cop the flak. According to the Bible in Matthew 5:11-10, the Sermon on the Mount from Jesus, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteous, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.†I thank the Father in heaven for giving me the right spirit to love the person who persecutes me while at the same time speaking out the truth with boldness. We thank our faithful Father in heaven for an amazing unity in the Body of Christ at the National Australia Day Prayer Gathering in Melbourne, buzzing with more than 3 hours of Holy Spirit empowered prayer, praise and worship to the reigning King of kings and Lord of lords, our Lord Jesus Christ!
Between 750-800 Christians from many churches, denominations, generations, and ethnicities (many travelling from interstate and some from overseas) packed the Springvale City Hall in Melbourne, Australia to pray for this Great South Land of the Holy Spirit! Many brought their Australian flags with them and waved them throughout the entire service declaring ‘Australia for Jesus’!

M worship team led the interdenominational Christian prayer gathering in ushering in the manifest glory of God’s awesome and holy presence, as God’s people passionate for Australia’s transformation, joined hearts and hands in Kingdom unity to worship King Jesus!
The 20+ denominational representatives from the Salvation Army, CRC, Catholic Charismatic, Baptist, Anglican,
AOG, Seventh Day Adventist, Uniting, Indigenous, and Christian ministry representatives from Culturewatch, Catch the Fire, Australian Marketplace Connections, Gospel Ministry, and Salt Shakers, led their prayer segment with the passion, fire, and love of Jesus for our nation of Australia, to absolutely storm heaven in prayer, standing on the sure promise of God’s Word from 2 Chronicles 7:13-14. We asked the Lord to protect Australia from natural disasters, especially during this bushfire season. There was also much intercessory and prophetic prayer for Rain, Farmers, Persecuted Church Worldwide, Government, Harvest of Lost Souls, Armed Forces, Pastors & Unity in the Body of Christ, Families, Children & Youth, Business & Marketplace, Indigenous People, and additional critical issues in the Kingdom of God. The Samoan Choir stirred up the crowd with 2 special songs of exuberant praise and worship!

We thank our Lord God of the Nations for sending His faithful servants, Dr Jackson & Pastor Wayne, all the way from the United States of America to inspire and challenge the body of Christ to rise up for a mighty Holy Spirit Revival in Australia!
These 2 mighty men of God were used so powerfully to bring revelation knowledge from the Word of God to hundreds of Christians who gathered from many churches, denominations, and nationalities (45) as a significant representation of the body of Christ over the weekend in Melbourne (Hallam) to soak in the glorious presence of God!
The CTFM apostolic base was packed out with people hungry and desperate for a life transforming encounter with God!
