Media Release – 10th Anniversary of Victory for FREE SPEECH – 15 years ago I said Islam is Dangerous – But you laughed. Now we are paying the PRICE

It is with great excitement we at Catch the Fire Ministries (CTFM) celebrate the 10th anniversary of our great victory for FREE SPEECH in Australia.
Rise Up Australia Party (RUAP) a Christian values based party, also joins with the ministry in celebrating this great win for the Nation.
This morning Rev Dr. Daniel Nalliah stated, “15 years ago I warned Australia and the West regarding the evil teachings in some parts of the Qur’an, taught by true Islam. In that warning, I spoke of the danger Islam poses to the Western World. But the left-wing Politically correct (PC) media and Politicians chose not to take it seriously …. And now we are paying the price.

During our vilification court case most media outlets mocked and criticized us and said that we had “Islamophobia” and that we were “Racist”. May I say, “I told Ya!”. What I said 15 years ago was, “Islam will terrorize the west, if we don’t wake up”. However; most people were fast asleep. Islamic terror attacks’ are now happening on a Daily basis; but finally the WESTERN WORLD seems to be waking up. NONE THE LESS, IS IT A BIT TOO LATE?

CTFM paid a heavy price for 5 years from 2002-2007 fighting for FREE SPEECH in the court room, when the Islamic Council of Vic took us to court on vilification charges. Thank God we won the battle on 22/06/2007. We paid $600,000 legal fees, and were given 1.5 million in pro-bono work by our lawyers, had several threats to our lives, of kidnapping and harm to our families. And I should not neglect to mention, that the media gave us a really hard time. But by God’s grace we prevailed against these attacks and won the case. At least now, the PC media and politicians should acknowledge that Islam is a problem! Or will they continue to shadow box?”
