From the W.A today, “A group of West Australian MPs has called for Christian symbols to be permitted in prayer rooms in Perth’s two new hospitals alongside prayer rooms built to cater for the Muslim faith.
‘After all, our tradition here is a Christian country and, while not everyone shares that faith, tradition is we are Judeo-Christian sort of country. Let’s acknowledge that’.”
In a Christian nation, prayer for the sick should not be a political football.
