Dear friends & family in Christ,
One needs to first understand that “Muslims” are a group of people. Islam is the Religion and the Koran is their text book, where they get their ideology from.
I am sure we all know that one can choose their friends and partner, but not your family or the religion you are born into.
The siege in Sydney had a very sad ending. All night I kept waking up, checking the news, and saying prayers for the hostages, their families and our security forces. I can just imagine the terror that the hostages went through for so long, and then to hear the news that two were killed, was so very sad.
I know that emotions will be running very high right now and that feelings towards Muslim people can be very negative. We must be careful however not to brand all Muslims with the same label. We need to love them and make them feel at home as many of them do not practice the Koran and have chosen to live a peaceful life.
Let me take Sri Lanka as an example. Due to racial riots, thousands lost their lives. Then because of terrorism many were killed. But since the terrorists were from the minority group, even though most people from the minority did not support the terrorists, all those who belonged to that minority community became victims of revenge attacks, insults and were looked upon as if everyone from that community was a terrorist. I hope that does not happen to Muslims living in Australia.
How do I know this?? Because I am from that minority community and had to live through it for 20 years. Thank God the civil war in Sri Lanka is over, but tens of thousands lost their lives and the scars of war will remain for a long time.
What ticks me off however, is that the media calls these attacks ‘lone wolf attacks’ and somehow tries to brush aside that the religion of Islam and the Koran is the main problem. How many more lone wolf attacks are needed for them to wake up??
September 11th twin towers in New York, Bali bombing, Madrid train bombing, London suicide bombings, Beslan school attacks, Boston, Lee Rigby beheading in UK, Canadian attacks, Numan Haider attack on police officers in Melbourne, Sydney siege, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria and the list goes on. More than 3000 attacks were carried out in just the last year in the name of Islam.
You must be brain dead to think these are all lone wolf attacks. No, this is the true nature of Islam. It started with Mohamed and his men beheading some 600-800 people and has continued for the past 1400 years, up to date.
Until our politicians and media deal with the root of the problem, which is the ‘Teachings of the Koran’ that promotes hatred towards infidels (non-Muslims), this problem will not go away. You must kill the roots to see the branches die. The Koran is the problem. Lone wolves, as they are being called, are in the very good company of their prophet Mohamed, and tens of thousands of Imams and sheiks who follow the Koran to the letter. Sad to say, these are the true Muslims.
Once again I encourage you not to brand all Muslims with the same label. Love your Muslim neighbors, but stand up against the teachings of Islam. In fact, I recently published a book about this very issue ‘The 21st-Century Culture War in the West, Multiculturalism and the danger of Fundamental Islamism in the West .’
With my thoughts and prayers,
Ps Daniel Nalliah
Dear Pastor Daniel,
“What ticks me off however, is that the media calls these attacks ‘lone wolf attacks’ and somehow tries to brush aside that the religion of Islam and the Koran is the main problem. How many more lone wolf attacks are needed for them to wake up?? “
We are never going to get the media to see ‘Islam” as the problem, because it does not suit the “politically correct” spirit of the age … to do otherwise would bring great condemnation upon them from those who think they know better, have other agendas, in short those are blind / fearful / or simply devious in different mixes.
So don’t be surprised … this is the backdrop against which we must be the people of God … we must not in any way seem to favour or support a witch hunt … but fearlessly lift up the light of Jesus as the darkness gathers ‘Till He comes again’ … the battle is the Lord’s … and for many people Christianity is just as bad as Islam.
In the political realm the task is very difficult … may God give you and Fred Nile wisdom in how you carry the battle in that realm.
God bless,
Gary
Thank you,I was waiting to hear your report/response,I agree completely
God bless you further,

Thank you Pastor Daniel.
But strange to-day I was reading in my daily reading what K. Copeland said about Eph.6.14-15 the operative word being “prepared” “If they had kicked Al Capone out of Chicago when he was just a small time operator he wouldn’t have been so hard to handle, but they waited until he became a first- class criminal with forces built around him” After reading that my mind went to the Muslims. Like the homosexual I love them but do not like their actions. Same goes with the Muslims – I am sorry to say that “she won’t be right mate” if these people are allowed to run their own race. They came to our beautiful country like yourself and Greeks, Italians etc. And you assimilated into our Country.
As for “Moderate” Muslims if they read their Koran like we read and study our bibles they will learn that if you did not believe in Allah you are an infidel and therefore to be executed.
Blessings,
Zita

Dear Prayer Partners,
As we mourn the deaths of those who died in the Sydney siege, we also thank the Lord that more were not killed. I am sure you were interceding, as were so many around the nation.
The national outpouring of grief follows on from the shock that reverberated following the recent sudden death of cricketer Phillip Hughes at the Sydney cricket ground.
In both situations we have continually heard the words ‘thoughts and prayer’ expressed not only through our politicians, but across our media outlets, supported by expressions of love.
Whilst many have been shocked at these tragic outcomes, some prayer leaders have been reporting a spiritual shift across the nation as the Lord calls us to a time of committed intercession.
During the siege, Daniel Lim, CEO of IHOP-KC called IHOP to intercede. He sent an email to Australian prayer leaders saying that when he met with us in Sydney last June he had a coffee in a café and was impressed with the design of a heart swirled into the froth. He wrote “The beautiful heart shape reminds me of God’s steadfast love for Sydney and Australia.”
Lilian Schmid, Facilitator for Transforming Sydney Movement, sent an email this morning to prayer leaders in which she wrote “we in Sydney thank each one of you for standing in prayer with us and for us. Sydney is strong for the Lord and can’t be shaken. The gates of hell will not touch it.”
At the same time one of our Adelaide intercessors sent me a word she received yesterday while the siege was occurring. It was Psalm 31:21-22 from the daily devotions of the Blue Letter Bible.
“Blessed (be) the Lord, for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city. For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.” The NIV translation is “besieged city.”
Sydney, (like the rest of our Australian population) has not yet understood the Lord’s faithfulness and love, and again as in other years many will sing Christmas carols without revelation of what the words really mean. But God is displaying his love in the midst of sorrow and suffering, wanting to break off the words “I am cut off before thine eyes.”
In her email Lilian further wrote “every city in Australia is our city and every house is our house. Righteousness is the key for transformation, righteousness takes place in the heart of our city when we love one another and don’t allow satan to come between us.”
These words are similar to those I expressed recently about the need to adopt each other’s cities in love, and unite across the different prayer streams in our nation. Such unity will release the authority we need in the spiritual battle over our nation.
Sue Rowe, co-ordinator of Transform World’s Celebration Challenge (houses of prayer), wrote from the USA during the siege to prayer leaders here, “we are very much in prayer and concern regarding the hostages in Sydney. I just got back from our prayer room here in California where we spent the morning focused in worship and warring for you…whenever I have prayed for Australia, I have seen the entire nation on fire… a good fire… fire of the Lord. You are mighty warriors. You stand with clarity and focus. When God moves in your hearts, there is an exponential release for the Kingdom that fires into the nations… We are praying for the fire to burn up the chaff, confusion, destruction the enemy wants to bring and for fiery vision, purpose, and clarity to come forth to conquer it. Stand strong in the face of terrorism. It is time to draw the line, the enemy has crossed it, stand firm. Close the door. Whatever it takes from intercession to government, stand to close this door. Lawlessness is trying to invade and this must be shut… stand strong for righteousness.”
2015 is promising to be a year of even greater harvest. If every church maintained a weekly prayer meeting we would see even greater victories!
Meanwhile let us continue to intercede for the Lord to break off all shock and trauma and bring deep healing to those suffering from the effects of the Sydney siege.
May the truth of the words of Isaiah 9:6 resonate with the Australian public this Christmas.
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
In anticipation of the harvest,
Jenny

Every moslem has given their heart and mind to a deranged, violent, paedophile, false prophet. They all know about six year old Aisha ‘they name their daughters after her!. They all spread lies about Jesus Christ- that he was not crucified–The only love I could give a moslem is to tell them the truth about their rotten religion and the demonic spirit that runs it. The priests of baal and moslems are kissing cousins. Woe unto you Islam, and all who follow your false prophet. Keep up the good fight pastor Danny.!
Well said Pastor Daniel
Once gain the ABC Propaganda machine has now kicked in, denying the attack had anything to do with Islam.
Resident experts come out of the woodwork and deny the reality that Man Haron Monis had anything to do with Islam.
God Blessings to you and your family on a very sad day.
Two very talented people are now dead, thanks to a crazy Muslim Cleric.
Absolutely Tragic.
Let’s pray we never see a repeat of this in Australia.
It makes you appreciate how fragile life is and how we have to appreciate and love each other.

Phil
Thanks for a wonderful email. I’m glad you wrote clearly with the personal example and I totally agree with you.
I was just thinking how some Middle Eastern countries enforce their culture and values to the extent of not accepting the Bible there and whereby women have to dress to their standards… Is the only way to not cover up for their religion leading to a ban of their book in a country where its religion is Christianity? Or would that create more motivation for them?
Having said that, I can’t help not want that ban either because I know how it feels when here in Sri Lanka we are the minority as Christians too and there are so many attempts to eradicate this faith.

Thank you

Thank you Danny,
I have been saying for quite some time, “it is not the people, it is the accursed book!”
Maybe if Salman Rushdie’s book was compulsory reading for our Politicians???
I am thinking of joining RUAP and having some input.
God bless,
Allan

Dear Ps Daniel,
This is a response to your article on Moslems. You say the problem is Islam and the Koran. For instance, how can one be a christian without practicing what the Bible says to the letter? So the Moslems are only doing what their holy book tells them to do. To tackle Islam without touching the Moslems would mean banning the Koran and banning Mosques.
Since 9/11,Kenya has had her share of Islamic terror. Moslem terrorists have killed many Christians/Kenyans.Last month,68 Christians were killed in cold blood in a county called Mandera. Perhaps the Aussie media did not highlight this senseless massacre.
God bless,
