Rise Up Good Soldiers for Jesus / Former Mormon receives Lord at CTFM

Dear family & friends in Christ,

1) Glory to God for another amazing weekend in His glorious presence!

On Sunday past, Pr Daniel preached on the 3 categories of people in the church, the Visionaries, the Leaders and the Followers. He used the story of Moses leading the people out of bondage into freedom.

Pr Daniel stated, “Where there is no vision people perish. Where there is vision people are always excited as they know that they have a cause to fight for. Where there is vision there is a mission to accomplish and you will see people with great passion following the visionary.

Moses had a great encounter with God at the burning bush, where he received the vision to set His people, who were captives, free from Egypt. This started off a great journey to lead Israel into freedom.

Have you had a real encounter with God?? We need to set the captives free!!

Moses encountered many challenges. He was challenged from the outside by Pharaoh and the Egyptians. He also faced challenges from within, including his own leaders and the Israelites. No matter who challenges you, if God has called you and appointed you for the task, you must stand up and be a good soldier for Jesus with boldness, guts and love.

I had my burning bush experience in Saudi Arabia, just 40 minutes from Mecca (the holy city of Islam), where Jesus appeared to me in a bright glow of light at 3.40am on 21st July 1997 and spoke to me for 2 hours and 20 minutes, giving me the vision for Australia.

So, no matter what anyone one might say, I have a vision and a dream to see Australia and then the nations come to Jesus!”

Glory to God, the people gathered at both service were mightily impacted by the Word of God and challenged to stand up and be good soldiers for Jesus.

2) There was also a very powerful testimony shared by a lady called Jenny. I am sure many of you saw her share her story during the live webcast on Sunday night.

She said, “My neighbour had put a brochure about RUA Party in my letterbox. When I read it I got very excited. I used to be a Mormon and I also totally believed in evolution. But when I got this brochure something happened inside me, and I wanted to know more about this political party. So I sent an email to Pr Daniel and I was very surprised to receive an immediate response.

My neighbour then gave me a book called ‘Worship Under The Sword’ and told me that this book was Pastor Daniel’s real life story. I read the whole book in one day, and thought, can this be for real. So I read the whole book the next day. Now I was getting very excited, so I read the book for the 3rd time the following day.

On that Sunday I came to church and gave my life to Jesus. I have now read the book 5 times. My life is completely changed in the past 6 weeks. I am looking forward to get baptised soon. My husband told me that I am a changed woman. After reading Pastor Daniel’s book, I no longer believe in evolution and I have started reading the Bible which I had no desire to read before!”

Glory to God! What a mighty God we serve!
