Unity in the Body of Christ – Key for Kingdom Breakthrough / Pr Daniel of CTFM & Pr Mark of Citylife Church apologise to each other

Pastor Mark Conner of City Life ChurchDear family & friends in Christ,Our Lord Jesus Christ’s highly priestly prayer in John 17:20-23 states, 20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also forPastor Daniel Nalliah those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

I thank our loving Heavenly Father for what He did last week when he brought together representatives of Sterihealth, Citylife & CTFM to address the issue regarding Sterihealth.

In this confidential meeting, I did not expect that the Lord would bring tremendous healing to our hearts and genuine reconciliation by His Spirit.

Certainly, last week was a great breakthrough in the Body of Christ for the advancement of the Kingdom of God, as Pastor Mark and myself connected heart to heart, to bring glory to our King of kings and the Lord of lords!

Following is a statement which Pastor Mark has recently put on his blog.

“One of the highlights of last week for me was a meeting a few of us had with Danny Nalliah from Catch the Fire Ministries. Thankfully, we were able to resolve some recent issues related to the SteriHealth company (see Danny’s recent BLOG post about this here).

Danny and I were also able to talk through some of the discussion and debate surrounding the Victorian bush fires that occurred a few years back. He explained to me how the media misquoted his actual statement about this incident and I was able to clarify how my BLOG comments about the matter were not meant to be a personal attack on him but rather a discussion on the topic of judgment and suffering in our world. Both of us apologised to each other for any hurts caused because of this incident.

No doubt, Father God smiles when his children live in unity and there is a blessing that comes along with that. Ultimately, we are all on the same team, seeking to see God’s kingdom come and His will done on earth as it is in heaven.

I was very encouraged by all of this.

Mark Conner”

I personally wish to ask forgiveness from anyone who may have been hurt during the past few years due to the Bush Fire or Abortion issue. I did not mean to offend anybody, but simply wanted to stand for the Lord Jesus, which I will continue to do as long as He gives me breath.

May I take this opportunity to thank Pastor Mark Conner and all those who have been praying for us.

I am sure that this is a new beginning to rise up and see true love and genuine unity restored in the body of Christ to see Australia come back to Jesus.

Your brother in Christ,

Pr Daniel Nalliah

I am so pleased to hear that there has been reconciliation between the 2 church ministries that have had such a positive impact on my life! I hope & pray that the open & transparent dialogue between Citylife & Catch The Fire Ministries continues well in to the future! As a Partner of Citylife I am so proud of my amazing Senior Pastor, Mark Conner, the Elder & Leader also involved, as well as Pastor Danny from CTFM (who has personally been so encouraging to me in my life!) Thank you for having the courage & strength of character needed to approach this meeting with the spirit of humility & forgiveness. God will be so pleased with his sons!! Much love to Ps Danny & Maryse, and family. xxxx

Greetings, it is good to see this discussion has been had and that issues have “been talked through” however wisdom and maturity says this all should not have happened and differences should of been resolved when they were created to save all the reproach that has come upon the Body of Christ – we hear so much about the Apostolic age but this shows there remains a lack of Apostolic covering and council – it would be great if we could always honor one another and move into saving souls and keep our fighting for the devil, distroying his works. Wouldn’t it be great if we could be Christians instead of politicians, working at protecting our personal interests and pride.

God bless, I trust lessons that have learned here can be implemented to prevent future offendes!

Thank you Pastor for your faithfulness to overcome obstacles standing in the way of unity in the Body Of Christ.

I have too many things to tell you via keyboard and long to see you face to face Pastor. I think I will have to come to Hallam to see you though and pray for a time when you can spare me an hour.

    Keep on keeping on Brother.

All our love to you and your family.

May the great grace of Jesus be multiplied tou you and your team.

Has Satan been given a great blow or what! What he meant for destruction has brought about repentance, forgiveness and unity. When the leaders get it right, the people will get it right. PTL

    Dear Pastor Daniel

Thank you for this email. It had troubled me for some time that there was this disunity between Christian churches (both of which I had held in high regard). I am so thankful that the enemy’s plans have been exposed and that reconciliation, understanding and forgiveness have overcome his plan to bring the Church into disrepute.

This is good news. I only pray that next time something like this happens that instead of making it public you will go to the source of the problem and confidentially deal with it without spreading it among the body of Christ.!

Praise God, Praise God, I believe our God will do great anf mighty things, when leaders humble themselves together and pray.

    Dear Danny

Keep praying that the impact that all of this has had on other churches who were joining together for prayer for Australia. Pray that the same humility will come about as well. Our Prayer in Cootamundra broke down during this time and even though we keep praying the local Baptists stop joining us because of what was going on and didn’t want to come under your ministry.

I thank you for your continued humility and commitment to Australia. I will always support your ministry because I know that you are a man of integrity.

    Love Jill

    Hello Sir,
I just want to let you know that I am sooooo happy about the miraculous reconciliation between Catch the Fire & Citylife. The enemy has lost the battle. Thank you Sir for having a large heart. I’m always confident of the fact that you are a true example of Men of God that always forgive people no matter how difficult the situation may be.

May God continue to strengthen you and your household in the ministry that He has committed into your hands.

Thank you for your love towards the body of Christ.

    Dear Pastor Danny,

I am writing this email for two reasons. Firstly to tell you how much I appreciate you and your ministry team. You are a man of God that I admire and I covet the stands that you take for Righteousness, the way you are not afraid to be out there but more than anything the Power of the Holy Spirit Whom you allow to operate and have free reign in your life. Thank you for showing us Christ in action and I am so glad the Lord sent you to Australia. You are His gift to this land. I read your book just this last week for which I thank you.

Secondly, as you know CHOGM is coming to Perth in October and we are very excited about it as God spoke to a woman of God here in Perth (someone He knew He could trust) when it was announced that it would be here in Perth and from that moment she began to gather folks who would pray and one thing has led to another and it seems we have the WHOLE WORLD involved (well 54 nations of the Commonwealth at least). When we were at prayer last Thursday I asked her if she had advised you of what was happening here, to which she replied that she had not and asked me if I would. We sure could do with you and your team praying with us as we are expecting God to show up big time as those leaders come together. The theme is “Women, Agents of Change” for the CHOGM conference. We have praying people from all over the 54 nations plus even American folk to come and see the nations of the Commonwealth do God’s Business. You can look it up on Facebook under “Commonwealth Prayer Initiative.”

I hope you don’t mind me writing to you, but you represent “Rise Up Australia” and are integral.

    Dear Pastor Daniel

I am a member of Citylife Church. I am also an obstetrician and gynaecologist who is involved in the emotional throes of abortion from time to time.

I was overjoyed to see the recent misunderstanding resolved in such a loving and empowering way- it is the work of the Holy Spirit

    God bless

    This is one beautiful email

God is Good!!!!!!!!!!! These issues have burned and burdened upon my heart and it is so great to see unity and true love amongst brethren.

Tell me, how do I become involved in CTFM prayer because I often find that I am burdened with not only stuff but also the same heart cries according to God’s word as you all are. I often feel quite isolated and people just don’t “get me” when it comes to these issues.

Is there a prayer group in Geelong? Can I start one?

    Thanks

    Jo
