Dear Family and Friends in Christ,

We thank the Lord for a glorious weekend in Bendigo as the Spirit of God moved most mightily at every single meeting where Pastor Danny and a team from Catch The Fire ministered on the 4th & 5th of April.  Scores of hungry Christians from 21 churches, including 14 senior pastors, flocked to receive the fire of God’s Holy Spirit! All glory to God as almost every single person at the  meetings were radically transformed by the mighty presence of God, to stand boldly for the Lord Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God!

With many increasingly stirred in the Spirit to pray for our nation, additional exciting news is that the Rise Up Australia monthly prayer meetings will be re-launched on the last Tuesday of April in Bendigo and will be starting another new location for prayer in Maryborough. Contact CTFM office for further details.

Below are 2 reports we received from Bendigo that will greatly encourage :

  1) Greetings in the Name above all names -  Jesus Christ

What a glorious time in Bendigo with Catch the Fire Ministries. The presence of God was so  evident that people had a difficulty standing, even, long after the meeting had ended.

Many reports from people who spoke of their lives being `turned around’ lives turned from `mourning into dancing’ `sorrow into joy’! Of victories won over apathy, despair, and self-centeredness;

One man Shane came forward for healing for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (he will get it checked out soon ) also to receive the gift of `other tongues’  As he was driving back home to Eaglehawk, he began to thank Jesus, suddenly Words started to form , then with a mighty rush they poured from his lips. His life changed forever, his joy abounding.

Each message was a timely wake-up call, showing that it is ` AWAKE O ISRAEL, ARISE FROM SLUMBER AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE’ A new zeal was released with 40 names listed to attend the monthly  RUA meetings every fourth Tuesday Bendigo lists 34 names Maryborough 6 names   (The Pastors will hold their Maryborough RUA meetings to coincide with Bendigo) (There will be more Bendigo names  to be added at a later date)

There were 21 churches (known) and 14 senior Pastors present.

2) I attended the first two meetings …. and thought that there’s no way that I’m missing the third !! Pastor Danny and his team were very real …. and weren’t afraid to speak out what God placed on the hearts. Before the meeting started, I asked Jesus if He could confirm to me if I had been baptised in the Holy Spirit … because I could only ever get a few words out {speaking in tongues} …. and doubt would always come in as to whether I was actually speaking in tongues or not.

When Pastor Danny gave the altar call for people wanting healings ….. I immediately went forward, because I am in need of two physical healings. When it was my turn to be prayed for, he lay hands on me and started to pray. Then he stopped and said ” this is a word from the Lord. He wants you to run down the aisle and back, and shout, in the name of Jesus, I am healed”. I freaked out a bit, because I am shy, and don’t like attention being focussed on me. But I just had to do what the Lord wanted …. so off I went. I think that shyness started to crumble after that !! When I ran back up to Pastor Danny he lay hands on me again …. and down I went under the power of the Holy Spirit. I’m not sure how long I was down …. maybe twenty minutes. I couldn’t get up that’s for sure ! At one stage, my hands felt like they were vibrating ….. and the sensation went up my arms, and all over my body.

I think the Lord wants me to keep confessing that I am healed in the name of Jesus …. and the healings I desire will be manifested. So after I eventually got up off the floor … I made my way to my car {as most people had left hahaha} . As I drove off, I began to thank Jesus for what had happened … but I only managed to speak a few words, when suddenly I burst out in tongues !! I couldn’t turn it off either, I spoke in tongues all the way home !! So if I wasn’t baptised in the Holy Spirit before …. I sure am now !!

Pastor Danny Nalliah hosted three Catch the Fire Holy Spirit Revival meetings in Bendigo at the weekend.
Pastor Nalliah said Catch the Fire was about bringing churches back together for prayer.
‘’It’s been extremely well received (in Bendigo,’’ Pastor Nalliah said.
‘’On Saturday, we had about 130 to 150 people in attendance from about 18 different churches.
‘’The presence of God was absolutely awesome.
“A lot of people had inner healing with various problems.”
The meetings were held at the Long Gully Community Centre.
“We used to have monthly Catch the Fire meetings in Bendigo and that will be happening again now.
“We are basically telling people to wake up, rise up, and take a stand for what you believe.”
  

 

The meetings in Hallam, Melbourne were absolutely awesome as many radical worshiping warriors enthusiastically received the holy Presence of God and the prophetic Word of the Lord regarding Israel, the Church, and the Nations in the these Last Days before the 2nd Coming of Jesus! There were some very spiritually hungry young men who had travelled interstate from Adelaide to Melbourne and took the Fire of the Holy Spirit back to Adelaide, South Australia!

What a mighty God we serve!
