I have posted my response to the Australian-born monk Dhammika’s vicious attacks against Christianity, myself and my book From Buddha to Jesus @ www.buddhabook.org/bookblog. My refutation of Dhammika’s anti-Christian polemic is in 4 parts. I believe you will get a lot out of it.

As my book From Buddha to Jesus explains, my stance has been that we will not win people being antagonistic and hostile like Dhammika. I believe it helps us win people to Christ to be respectful and to see the good in others without compromising our core beliefs (e.g. Jesus is Lord!)
2009 seems to be the year the enemy wants to claim for “atheism”. Richard Dawkins and 3 of his atheist friends have called themselves on TV the “4 Horsemen” of the Apocalypse. Dhammika falls more into this brand of Western atheism than Eastern religion. He does not know Isaiah 11:9, “For the earth shall be FULL OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE LORD as the waters cover the sea.” Those who fight God are fighting a losing battle.
Dhammika uses Western atheism to attack Christianity, something true Buddhist monks do not do. Many Christians don’t understand Buddhism, but true Buddhism is NOT renaissance atheism. Read my articles and you will find why Dhammika is nothing more than a neo-atheist in robes. He does not represent the polite Oriental form of Buddhism we normally encounter and co-exist with.
From Ray Comfort to Creation Ministries, we see the Church rising up to the challenge of atheism. Seekers want to know Christians have logical, rational and most of all Scriptural answers. How will you play a part in 2009?
