A God Of Justice or Love? What Does the Bible say?

Pastor Danny & Wife MaryseDear friends and family in Christ,

All glory to God as we continue to serve the Lord through His grace and strength standing strong for the truth of His Word in the mighty Name of Jesus!

There has been much speculation and discussion in the Church (Body of Christ) as to the timing of my article recently released through the media. Following is an excerpt from the dream which was published in the article. “In my dream I saw fire everywhere with flames burning very high and uncontrollably. With this I woke up from my dream with the interpretation as the following words came to me in a flash from the Spirit of God. That His conditional protection has been removed from the nation of Australia, in particular Victoria, for approving the slaughter of innocent children in the womb.”

I was led by the Holy Spirit to write the article and when it was finished, I took it to the office, but knowing the furor that it may cause, took it home with me again.  On Day 2, I took it back to the office, but still could not release it.  On Day 3, the Lord asked me whether I was going to listen to Him or to man, (including other pastors, ministers, and Christian leaders). In the words of Paul the Apostle, sent not from man or by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, writing to the Galatians (born-again Spirit-filled Christians), “Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.” (Galatians 1:10)

I suppose I was somewhat feeling like the men of God in the Bible (like those in both the Old and New Testaments) when I released the article from the Spirit of the Lord.  It seemed like all  hell had broken loose against me. Hundreds of emails started pouring in, both positive and negative. Some have blessed us, some have cursed us (including new agers, witches, warlocks, Satanists, secular humanists, agnostics, atheists, pastors and Christians alike) and others have called for an attack on us to fire bomb the Catch the Fire Ministry office. I thank the Lord Jesus Christ that He warned us of this persecution from the religious leaders when He said in the New Testament Gospel of Matthew 23:34, “Therefore I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town.”

We thank the Lord that tens of thousands of people have read the media release on our website, sending prayer, moral encouragement, and comments from many nations across the world.  Praise the Lord for the media coverage (Radio, Print, Internet, and T.V.) which proclaimed the prophetic Word of the God to millions of people throughout the whole world. The message of our sin and the need to repent before a Holy God, which would have taken years to get across to the people (Christians and non-Christians alike), went out to the highways and byways within 48 hours!

One important question I have been asked is, was the timing right in releasing the article?  Absolutely! Similar to September 11th in America, the Bali bombing, and most recently the little girl who was thrown by her father over the bridge in Melbourne, shocking news becomes old news quickly and people hardly ever think of it again and forget the moral lessons we can learn from the tragedy. Who am I to disagree with God, His timing and will to release the Word of the Lord? (Ezekiel 2:10-11)

Many Pastors have both positively and negatively discussed the article from their pulpit.  This is great news, for since the passing of the Abortion Bill I have not heard many prophetic voices concerning God’s grieving heart on the hundreds of babies who are being aborted (or should I say murdered) every week. At least we’re finally hearing from even those Pastors who were not speaking out, nor prepared to march on parliament to demand that politicians do not pass this barbaric law.

As most of you know I was involved in a five year legal battle over freedom of speech and the religious vilification laws on behalf of the state of Victoria and our nation of Australia. The reason I took this stance was to allow my fellow Australians (especially Christian pastors, ministers, and leaders) to be able to quote in public and speak out on the Bible and Christianity.

However, have many Christian pastors, ministers, and leaders failed to rise up and lead the people of God, the wider community, and nation, according to the whole counsel and full truth of the Word of God, both His Loving Compassion and His Righteous Judgment? (Romans 11:22) In my article I mentioned that God has lifted His conditional protection from Victoria.  Let’s have a look at what the Lord says in His Word about the Righteous Judgment of God.

1: What does God say about those who say “peace, peace”?  Jeremiah 14:13-14

13 But I said, “Ah, Sovereign LORD, the prophets keep telling them, ‘You will not see the sword or suffer famine. Indeed, I will give you lasting peace in this place.’ ” 14 Then the LORD said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.”

2: God’s hand of protection removed  Ezekiel 5:11

11 “Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your vile images and detestable practices, I myself will withdraw my favour; I will not look on you with pity or spare you.”

3: God warns before His protection is removed  2 Chronicles 36: 15-16

15 “The LORD, the God of their fathers, sent word to them through his messengers again and again, because he had pity on his people and on his dwelling place. 16 But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the LORD was aroused against his people and there was no remedy.”

4: God laughs at those who oppose His servants Psalm 2 : 1-6

1 “Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?  2 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One. 3 “Let us break their chains,” they say, “and throw off their fetters.” 4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. 5 Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying, “I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill.”

5: God’s opposition to those who reject His Son Jesus Christ is total and permanent John 3:36

36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.”

6: God’s wrath against suppressing the truth and worshipping other gods Romans 1:18

18 “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness.”

7: God will give to each person according to what he has done Romans 2:5-11

5 “But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 God will give to each person according to what he has done.” 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honour and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; 10 but glory, honour and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favouritism.”

8: God has great patience and is long-suffering toward all, but we must repent and return to Him  Rom 9:22 and 2 Peter 3:9

22 ”What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction?”

9“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

9: God does not desire for people to suffer wrath and that’s why He gave us all a choice 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10

9 “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.”

10: Through God’s wrath people will turn to Him and give Him praise – Psalm 76:10

10 “Surely your wrath against men brings you praise, and the survivors of your wrath are restrained.”

Additional scriptures for your reference: Ezekiel Ch 22, Joel 1:15-20, Jeremiah 9:3-9, Matthew 24:12-24, John 5:27-30, Acts 10:42-43, Romans 12:19, Hebrews 10:26-31, 12:25-28, Hebrews 12:25-28,  Revelation 14:19-20, Revelation 16:8-9

It has been brought to my attention that Peter Costello is unhappy with what I said about the bush fires. My statements for the Kingdom of God have not and won’t be fashioned by any one.  Mr. Costello has the right to disagree with me. Our roles are very different from each other. I have been asked whether I still wish to see Mr. Costello as Prime Minister and the answer is “Yes, I do” with all my heart.  As with democracy we can agree to disagree with each other as this is one of the freedoms we enjoy and still be friends.

It is time that the people of God in the pew, the wider community and nation, are presented with the Full Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Cross, Eternity in Heaven or Hell, and His 2nd Coming as the reigning King of kings and LORD of lords! (Revelation 19:11-16)  Our God is a Holy God and He gave the 10 Commandments to us for our eternal safety.  Note that they are the “10 Commandments” and not the “10 Suggestions”.

It is fine to say you must not offend the people, but I remind Pastors, Ministers of the Gospel, and all Christian Leaders, of the scripture in Ezekiel 33: 4-6 which states “   4 then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head. 5 Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had taken warning, he would have saved himself. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.’”

How often do we hear a message on the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the Rapture of the ready Church, and that people will burn in Hell forever if they do not accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord. As a result most people (Christians and non-Christians alike) do not know the holy fear of God. Thank God for the grand-parent generation who is still around. Many of them have the holy fear of God as they were taught the entire Bible and not a USER FRIENDLY GOSPEL. I know of many of them who are weeping silently for today’s generation.

It’s high time for a supernatural Holy Spirit Revival, Reformation, and Revolution as the Kingdom of God reigns on Earth as it does in Heaven!

Yes, He is a God of Justice and Love both!

With much love,
Your brother in Christ,
Pastor Danny & Family

    Dear Danny

I have been praying for God’s revelation concerning all this and tonight whilst reading a book from the Left Behind series by Tim La Haye and Jerry Jenkins, I read these words, credited to Tsion Ben-Judah (a character in the books), and I quote:

“We are the army of God with a massive job to do in a short time. There are countless lost souls in need of saving and we have the Truth. It may be hard to recognize God’s mercy when His wrath is also increasing. Woe to those who believe that God is only `love’. Yes, He is love. And His gift of Jesus as the sacrifice for our sins is the greatest evidence of this. But the Bible also says God is “holy, holy, holy”. He is righteous and a God of justice, and it is not in His nature to allow sin to go unpunished or unpaid for. We are engaged in a worldwide battle with Satan for the souls of men and women. I do not say this lightly, for I do understand the power of the evil one. But I have placed my faith and trust in the God who sits high above the heavens, in the God who is above all other gods and among whom there is none like Him.”

Whilst this was written concerning the Tribulation, I know it also applies to now. As written in Psalm 19:14 – May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Thank you once again for allowing yourself to be used by God, to awaken us to the task we have to do. May God use you and your ministry to turn many to Him whilst there is still time to do so.

    Yours In Christ

    Thank you Pastor Danny,
I am one of the grandparent generation and totally agree with you, they we’re words that had to be written, thank you for your courage and obedience in writing them.
Gods richest blessings to you and your family,

    Dear Ps. Danny,

Thank you so much for your STRONG STAND about the wrath of God and for taking this on on behalf of those Christians who support you. Thank you for taking upon yourself all the firey darts (arrows) that come from the evil one and sadly from pastors and other leaders. Thank you for your wisdom and timley emails to counteract slander and misunderstanding. Thank you for being such a STRONG MAN OF GOD.

God gave me a Scripture last year during a quiet time when I was seeking Him. The verse “Matthew 4, 4” came to me. I looked it up and it’s about the temptation of Christ by Satan. Jesus said “It is written, man can not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God”. The revelation of this is that the written Word of God is useful for teaching, rebuking/correcting and showing us how to live, but the SPOKEN word of God is what we need to be living on.

May God continue to speak to you as clearly as the prophets mentioned in the Bible. Jesus knew John was the last prophet and priest from the line of Aaron, yet John annointed Jesus to carry on the kingdom’s work. Now we have the Holy Spirit and each other in the Lord, to bring justice, truth and salvation to the lost.

Danny take hold of the full armour of God, for these last days. I pray that the hedge of the Lord (as in Job) will be CONTINOUSLY surrounding you, your family, your home and the premises where you work and everywhere you step, until the day of our Lord Jesus. Stay STRONG in the Lord.

From a strong supporter of you,

    Sharon

    Dear Danny,

Thankyou again for your anointed words and fearless speech. I believe you were very much guided by God to speak these words exactly when you did, right into the heart of this tragedy. Sometimes the surgeon’s cut seems unkind, but is most necessary if the patient’s life is to be saved, and likewise, if Australian souls are to be saved for the Kingdom of God, they need to know the sins which they are committing and which are spreading like a cancer throughout our beautiful country.

I join with people every Thursday to pray outside the public hospital in Darwin, because this is the day that abortions take place here – sometimes all day long. We want the little innocents, who’s souls love and are loved by God, to know that someone loved them on the earth, and stood in solidarity with them as they suffered atrociously and their blood was shed, and we also pray for their mums and dads and grandparents, and the doctors and nurses and counsellors and all who had a part in their murder, that they may one day also know the love of God and turn to Him in repentence. We know our prayers are heard by God and will soften hearts and save lives for His Kingdom.

A lot more abortions take place here now because the Labour Government in the Northern Territory voted to decriminalise abortion on October 11th 2006. They did this under the cloak of darkness and only 4 politicians opposed this Bill. The visitor’s gallery in Parliament House, Darwin, was almost empty and it is only because a pro-life warrior in this town alerted myself and two others the day before, that we were present to witness this very, very, dark day for the N.T.

It saddens me that we very rarely hear Religious Leaders speaking out against this most terrible of all sins on the earth today. Surely the Heart of God must be grieved beyond compare as He must witness the continuous slaughter of the beautiful little human beings, perfect in every way, that He has created in His Own Image and Likeness, as a gift for us all. Surely, like the blood of Abel, “their blood is crying out to Him from the ground.” (Genisis 4:10)

“Of man as regards his fellow- man,
I shall demand account for human life.
He who sheds the blood of man,
by man shall his blood be shed,
for in the image of God
    was man created.” (Genisis 9:5-7)

We are living in dark times indeed when these diabolical laws can be so easily passed, but you have been a lamp on a lampstand for us in this past week, which we believe has been quite significant for the glorious future of Great South Land of the Holy Spirit.

Please continue to be a watchman for the people of our country Danny, as in Ezekial 33:1-9. I believe God has sent you here for this purpose and we will always keep you covered in prayer and in the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

God Bless you and your family and Prayer Team,

    Jeanne

    Dear Pastor Danny,

It is with much interest that I have followed your life since I first heard of your court stand. At our church, we were all praying for you.Since then, you have been thrust into the christian limelight often, and have stood against the persecution which comes when we stand up for the Lord and the Lord alone.

Years ago, during prayer times, I used to pray that the Lord would send us someone who would be able to get churches and christians together to love, pray and stand together for Australia, as we face the many obstacles to our faith. I believe the Lord did send that person, and answered my prayer.

May I encourage you to stand, love and weep for this country, in particular the christians. I am one of those who came to the Lord in this generation, and has heard all sorts of versions of the Gospel at different churches. Our generation does need help. We need help to see past the deceptions of our own hearts, so that we can be honest with Jesus, and let him into every corner of our being. Only then will we walk in the peace and righteousness that the Holy Spirit brings. We need to really know that if we love the Lord, we will obey Him and He and His son will truly dwell with us.

Then, we would see the might power of the Holy SPirit sweep across our nation as we tell people the good news, they would be healed, delivered, brought out of the Kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of light and walk in humility.

Please don’t let the arrows coming through the pastors and leaders wound you. The enemy is trying to use them and they do not know what they are doing. They too need our prayers.

May the Lord bless you and guard your heart during these fiery times you are having.

Love from a sister in Christ,

    Jasmin

Bless you brother, you resound the travailing of my heart. The whole church of this land should be on our faces sobbing with grief and subsequent repentance. Instead we are squabbling, and getting distracted who said what and why. Why is it that we know so little of God and the total gospel message, why is it we are floundering in uncertainty tossed to and fro by the winds of this world? because we have not waited on Him, we do not seek His face, we do the works but do not know Him; which makes me weep even more………………weeping, peta…………….o bride, bride how glorious you could be , even now……

  8. Gordon

I stood with you and supported you when you were going through the courts. It was serious injustice.

I support any stand against abortion, and have no issue with you over the strength of your conviction in this. However, there are many many people, contrary to your claims, who are actively vocal about the killing of innocent children in wombs. Yours is not the only voice, as you are attempting to claim.

I was sceptical of your prophecy about John Howard, because we were in prayer also and did not receive the same message. Many other people prayed, and heard a different message. Is the Holy Spirit confused? We heard that there would be a change, and there was. Many people prayed and fasted for the election, and would have liked to see Mr Howard succeeded by Mr Costello, but it was not to be. However, you criticised the Body of Christ in Australia for failure, but it was your prophecy which failed.

Now you are attacking the Body of Christ again, and saying that good and godly ministers who find your doctrine wrong on the judgement of God through the fires in Victoria are to be counted amongst the wicked.

Yet your exegesis is flawed, and you have put scriptures together in much the same way cults do to prove a point. I could do the same to prove how wrong you are, but it would be fraudulent to do so, because we are supposed to rightly divide the Word of God, not use it as a defence for our own point of view, or to cover our own failure by putting blame on others.

You have a great many followers in this nation and beyond. You are in a position of responsibility. You have an opportunity to do the right thing, yet you have attacked people who have supported you in the past, and you have done so by incorrectly using scripture, when many people look to you to give sense to troubled times, but you add to the confusion as godly Pastors and ministers attempt to explain the fires in light of what Jesus has clearly said about these things, yet you teach the opposite.

It’s time to listen to other leaders, Brother Danny, not rebuke them.

    Paster Danny
I praise God for your courage and obedience to Him, His Word and His Voice for without blessed brothers like you who stand up and proclaim His Heart we would be lost. .I totally agree with all you have said as the Bible tells us to test all in the Spirit and His Word plus pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit and above all obey God.
I know of Pastors in Country Victoria who are telling their church that you are totally wrong, insensitive etc. I would expect this reaction from non believers, but respected church leaders!!! Have they forgotten that as well as a God of Love He is also a Jealous God and cannot look upon sin and the wages of sin is death. Where is the fear of God these days? Where is the message of being humble and seeking God, repentance and salvation?
God told us to speak the truth and so you have brother and I will continue to pray that all our nation will repent and turn towards Jesus.
I plead the Blood of our Saviour Jesus over you, your family and ministry and may you be fruitful and be in total alignment with
God’s Blessings, Grace and Mercy at all times. In the name of Christ Jesus Amen

Agreed with your comments on the importance of democracy.

People can and do say things and they are judged on merit.

The father heart of God punishing innocents for the perceived sins of the many (tell me how killing civilians in Iraq and Gaza is any different to abortion in its devastation of communities and lives that Christ died for) doesn’t gel.

God creates a world where there is cause and effect, blessing and curses, but in Jeremiah 31:29-34 there is talk of a new time where the sins of the fathers will not affect the children. In effect v30 – everyone will die for their own sin.
Verse 34 is amazingly powerful “I will forgive their wickedness and remember their sins no more”.

Jesus through bringing forth the new covenant took onto himself the wrath of God for sin, and brought into effect a time where “we can all know him from the least to the greatest” (Jeremiah 31:34). Being New Testament believers, we are not under condemnation or judgment.

Though some may have escaped the recent fires, there is a fire that burns eternally that we all must face some time. Jesus, through his sacrifice on the cross and subsequent resurrection gave us a way through the fire, for all who believe and receive. This is the AMAZING good news of the Gospel.

It also means that God’s wrath regarding sin has already been taken into account on the cross – the creation of the new covenant and the chance to live in a world where sin has lost its hold over us – we are new creations in the power of the Holy Spirit. Now we live in an age where the consequences of sin and accidents remain, but these are not deliberate acts of judgment by a God on communities that were some of the greatest active Christians – Marysville and Kinglake possessing many fantastically strong believers.

So saying the bushfires were as a result of passing a law, that’s something I don’t agree with. Family friends who honoured God in everything they did, who opposed the abortion legislation, and were great loyal servants of Jesus lost their lives, and homes. We must not dishonour their legacy but praise God for their lives, and mourn the tragic sequence of events that led to this occurring (drought, lack of fire management, fires through powerlines/arson, strongest winds in a generation, dare I say it even a hint of climate change coming from unsustainable and hedonistic living practices). Through it all, there is NO CONDEMNATION for those in Christ Jesus – as these men and women who fought valiantly to save their families believe with all their hearts.

Thanks though that we are in a democracy, and I have the right to post this on your forum, Danny. And for sparking moderate Christian leaders into a dialogue of faith with their constituents.

You are a strong leader who is courageous, and I pray that you are strengthened in your faith. I also pray that you seek the heart of God with fear and awe, in case some of the prophecy comes from pride or undisclosed anger at not getting the legislation you want passed.

Many people are praying for you Danny, that you will find some middle ground in all this theological confusion and not tie yourself in knots that will create more problems in back-tracking (e.g. Federal Election 2007)

It is a tragedy we have a society that values abortion as an option, but this is the right of a democratic society to decide this without additional judgment from a vengeful God. There will be natural consequences of the legislation (women’s guilt a main one) – this is the natural outworking of sin, something not added upon in such brutal manner by a loving, gracious God who is not “slow to return, but wishing everyone come to repentance” – 1 Peter 3.

I don’t have a simple answer for the fires burning and not stopping. What I do know is this:
    John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Therefore a simple reading is that the fires are a direct work of the evil one, stealing homes, killing lives, destroying our society.
In the midst of it all though, God is bringing restoration, hope, life in all its abundance through the work of many servants like your church, Danny. The heart of the nation has been touched. In a time of much financial turmoil, people are responding with amazing giving, some in almost Acts 2 style generosity. And people are finding the joy that helping others brings in living in communities committed to the greater good, epitomised by CFA workers on the front line, defending people who cannot defend themselves, many of these courageous men and women are people of great unquenching faith in Christ.

Jesus and his followers are about bringing “beauty from ashes”, “gladness from mourning”, and an opportunity for those without hope to find solace that their friends are in a better place, to find courage in their rebuilding processes, and to find solidarity with local churches who are the community glue that holds many towns together.

The church is rallied to an amazing cause. To bring this hope that Christ offers in all its fullness. To denounce the works of Satan, and to acknowledge him (and not God) as the bringer of the fires, the author of abortion and the great deceiver. To stand in the gap for all who have lost lives, property and employment through tragedy, and to be a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear and a warm handshake.

May you be blessed Danny as you reflect on these words. May you bring point people to Jesus – those who are hurting and dying at the moment. The time for embracing the new covenant is now, not in the future, as we all will face death some day. May your church like mine be rallying forever on the side of bringing faith hope and love to a community that so desperately needs it!

    Hi Danny,
Here are some of my thoughts on the bushfires in Victoria. I’m sure you will want to share them with your audience as they represent an alternative point of view. The truth is out there… keep looking!
I find it interesting that you lay the blame for this bushfire disaster at the feet of God. If I have the story right, you had a dream about flames and a ‘word’ from above that it was connected with the change in abortion laws in Victoria and that God was withdrawing his protection from Australia and in particular, Victoria.
This may make for good headlines and you may even see it as an opportunity to enlarge your following. But let’s examine what did happen in Victoria. Hundreds of homes that were built in the middle of some of the worst bushfire country in Australia were burnt to the ground. A similar event occurred in 1983 with the loss of many lives. Was God peeved at the government of the day then? Or did God withdraw his protection on Ash Wednesday for some other reason of which we remain ignorant. 1939 also saw many more people died as a result of raging bushfires through this same region of Victoria. Was God upset with the Australian people then and particularly Victoria. History tells us that Australia went on to participate and play a meaningful part in WW2 victory. It would appear that God was very much with the Australian people even after the raging bushfires of 1939 (and1944).
In the town that I grew up in there was a particular part that was known to flood. If I were to ignore all the past floods and chose to build my house there could I blame God when my house flooded. Or would I be accused of being a worse sinner because my house flooded and the ‘righteous’ people who lived on top of the hill – well their house did not flood.
The Apostles came to Jesus and asked him about the 18 people that had died as a result of a wall falling on them in Jerusalem. Jesus replied that they were neither any better nor any worse sinners than anyone else around…time and chance happen to all men. I do not support abortion laws any more than I support gambling, pornography, drunkenness, adultery, greediness, false prophets, worship of demons, lying, works of the flesh etc. But I don’t believe that the deaths of hundreds of people in the bushfires of Victoria are meant to appease God or atone for the sins of Victoria. (There is only one sacrifice for sin and that is Jesus Christ) These unfortunate people built their houses in the path of bushfires which history told us was sure to be repeated just as people who build their houses in flood areas will have their houses flooded. Armageddon is coming but Victoria’s bushfires and fatalities is what all bushfires in Australia are…time and chance…nothing more and nothing less.
That does not mean that we should not give God thanks every day we get up and pray that we will be delivered from evil every day just as we should pray for God’s Kingdom to come to this earth. Yes we should all give thanks daily, praise God for His great creation and pray for His Divine protection just as Jesus instructed us. And of course we should pray for our leaders in government…those that have rule over us.

    Thank you Ps Danny,

Continue to speak the truth in love. I know that God will bring forth something good out of this tragedy, as many will turn to God in humility and repentance and find salvation.

    God bless you,

    Cliff

    Dear Pastor Danny

Im sharing with you about what God said to me on the morning of the 7/2/2009 at 7.30am I was outside in the garden covering our plants from the hot sun God said this is the day of my wrath upon this state. This is not the first time God has spoken to me, for he has spoken on many other occassions I know his voice. God had been warning me of the up and coming bush fires, to victoria. The other thing about all of this is Im well known in the Kinglake area, strathewan, strathcreek, kinglake west, and kinglake central, toolangi, flowerdale, hazeldene, and many other towns.

During the time of thirty years working in all of these towns Ive preached the Gospel to many people some of them recieved salvation. Your dream of the bush fires and the spirit of God revealing to you what was about to happen. To this there is the connection. I was introduced to your church last year through a friend but i ignored. It was other friends who said lets go to the Catch the fire Ministries and I attended.

    God bless you pastor Danny!

  14. Karen

My heart was so encouraged to hear that you are speaking the truth about
the Australian bushfires. Don’t give up!

Some American pastors spoke out after 911 but then quickly backed down
when they were attacked from all sides. How desperately sad that they
valued their popularity more than the souls of their nation.

I’m praying for you and your church.

    Karen

Hi Danny – I have sent the following letter to the Adelaide Advertiser, The Australian and The Sydney Morning Herald in support of your stand re the bushfires. Love and prayers, Bev

    16th February, 2009.
    The Editor,

    Dear Sir,

In support of Pastor Danny – he does not belong to a sect as has been suggested in some media. His is a mainstream Christian church. He has had the courage to speak out what he knows in his heart because he loves God more than the approval of people. He also loves his country. Peter Costello couldn’t afford to agree with him on this issue because the media would have sensationalised it and crucified him – as you well know. However Christians throughout Australia of all denominational persuasions would in their hearts know what Danny says is true.

We are not saying that the people who died and suffered in the bushfires were individually responsible for the passing of godless laws allowing the murder of unborn babies, but as a nation we are responsible. We have elected the people who passed these laws and have wanted the self-serving outcomes which they produce.

Every one of us stands guilty before Almighty God and are responsible for the withdrawing of God’s conditional protection. We have broken his laws and we need to repent and change the laws we have replaced them with.

Danny has love and deep compassion for the people who have suffered. He was among the first to send truckloads of practical assistance. What about the reports we are hearing of Jihadists who are rejoicing in the destruction that the fires have caused and are hoping they were instigated by some of their own.

This is not the heart of the Christian, who is called to love his own people as well as his enemies. It was love that caused Danny to share his heart with the people of Australia and bring their attention to the grief in God’s heart over the murder of millions of little lives whom He created and loves. Please understand and take notice of what he’s saying. Why do you think the West has been blessed and prosperous? Because they have built their societies on the foundation of God’s laws. To the degree that we throw these laws to the wind, we will continue to see a withdrawal of this blessing in our nation. People of Australia, listen to what this courageous servant of God is saying and take a stand.

    Yours sincerely,

    Bev

    Dear Danny Nalliah

I would be amazed if you haven’t received a lot of hate mail for the dream/prophesy you gave about the Victorian fires.

Today at the memorial service the Prime Minister is quoted as saying “”In recent days we have witnessed unspeakable suffering. We have lost
mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers. We have lost brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, the tiniest of children,
family and friends and neighbours,” Mr Rudd said.

Kevin Rudd I believe purports to be a Christian. The tiniest of children though are the unborn. They are slaughtered yearly enmasse with
government sanction. I don’t believe he has lifted a finger to slow this.

We have all been the unborn. We have all been microscopically small. We survived, others are not.

God has declared his hatred for the shedding of innocent blood. The blood of the unborn is not that of his or her mother, nor father.
They have their own unique blood. God counts those souls.

    God Bless you Daniel Nalliah.

thankyou for publishing your dream, for the sake of a better nation.

Ps. Danny (Catch The Fire Ministries) has been in the firing line recently over mis-interpreted statements released to the media.
I did post a comment on Barney Shwarz’ blog as the editor for the Religious column in The Age. (N.B. He did misquote what Danny has said!) He was noting that with over 300 posts, there was very little support coming from the Christians who did stand by Danny realizing where he was coming from. There were many venemous comments regarding Danny’s views but not appreciating at all his heart and motivation in speaking up re Bushfire disaster. It now seems to have settled down to theological debates amongst the intellectuals etc…..

CONGRATULATIONS BY OBEYING ALMIGHTY GOD, IM NOT SURPRISED THAT THE UNBEILIEVEING DISMISSED WHAT YOU HAD TO SAY, AS I SAW THAT ENORMASE FIRE
THE WORST IN AUSS HISTORY, I KNEW IT WAS GODS RECKONING, IN MY OPINION IT IT WAS GODS JUSTICE ON THE WICKED. SPECIALY THE LEADERS, AS MOST

    God bless you Pastor Danny!

How I rejoice when you speak the truth of God! It is surely no accident that He has entrusted to your outfit the wonderful revival you have been experiencing. How right you are that we so soon forget the latest news item. Here in Canberra we can see how basically very little has changed since the horrible fires of Jan 2003 which re-wrote what bushfires can do in a suburban setting in this land. So often we do not learn. We just wait ‘till the next time. I would rather people made it into the Kingdom of God with their feathers ruffled a bit, than for them to happily and confidently march off to hell with their feelings intact. We live in an age when we must offend no-one. How is that possible? Jesus did not choose all of his disciples to go up to the mount of transfiguration with Him – He only chose 2. At the risk of offending the rest. That’s discriminatory – tough.

God bless you O Warrior of the Truth.

We love the fire in your belly, because we know it’s there from God.

Dear Danny and family and team.

I stand with you in the difficult yet obedient stand you had to take.We ARE people of grace and mercy, and we need to always reach out in the amazing love of God, but when God speaks in such a way we MUST stand, because His ultimate wisdom is always perfect. It lines up with what Billy Graham’s daughter said in an interview, in response to a question about where was God in the cyclone Katrina devastation. She said something like, “for years we’ve been telling God to get out of our schools and to get out of our government and out of our lives, and God is a gentleman so He has.So He has taken off His protection”. It went something like that.

May you all be refreshed and strengthened and may the protection of God surround you.
    Linda

Thank the Lord for Catch The Fire Ministries. May you continue to bring
    many Sons into Maturity.

  24. Tina-Marie

Thank you so much for your courage and tenacity and obedience to the Lord in this matter. I too have heard many criticisms laid against you in this matter but I believe that there is a great need for leaders in the Church to stand up against such evil acts and warn people of where their actions will take them.

Blessings to you and to all for your courage and obedience once again.

    Godspeed. Tina-Marie

    Melbourne:

As I prayed today, I saw the city being shaken. It seemed like a great earthquake. Many times in a prophetic vision, the shaking may not mean a literal shaking, but could mean a large calamity of some sort. Whatever happens, something large will hit this city and the surrounding areas. And the people who thought they were safe will wonder what on earth has happened to this city. Men’s hearts will be failing them for fear.

This is the city who thought that it could thumb its nose at God and have no direct consequences of any kind. I shall make an example of this city to the nations. It shall suffer a large defeat at the hands of an enemy.

I am calling my church to be ready to serve in this hour. For when something bad takes place from the darkness, my church needs to be the light in that darkness and buy gold refined in the fire. I am forewarning my church in order for her to be ready to serve. I am calling my church to have surplus supplies and stockpiles in warehouses. For my church shall be like a Joseph in this hour, who knew in advance the calamity that was going to take place and thus made provision for that calamity. How much will be required? There cannot be too much.

This is the time to prepare for the storm. This will also be a time for the church to be a great witness. If I have told you in advance, then many shall see that the church would also be warned and be an instrument of my love to the hurting and the lost. It shall be a great light to those who have been in great darkness. It is written: “If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” The people here are indeed in a great darkness, so much so that they do not even realize it or know it. But my church shall be the light in the darkness, and I am calling you to rise to this occasion, no matter what the costs may be. It is also written,
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.”

This is the time for my church to let its light shine in the darkness, and that light is the Son of God, Jesus Christ. I am also calling my church to be practical in preparation. For many have said, “The church lives and prepares spiritual answers, but what good does that do for us in the real world?” To them, this is my answer. I am warning my church in advance to be ready with an answer to all who ask of them. I am also preparing practical answers, for as the church prepares food, clothing and supplies in advance, then the world shall see just how much love both my body and myself have for them.

As I wrote this, I felt this song in my spirit: “God is in Control.”

This is no time for fear, This is a time for faith and determination
Don’t lose the vision here, Carried away by emotion
Hold on to all that you hide in your heart, There is one thing that has always been true
    It holds the world together

    God is in control
We believe that His children will not be forsaken
    God is in control
We will choose to remember and never be shaken
There is no power above or beside Him, we know
God is in control, oh God is in control

History marches on, There is a bottom line drawn across the ages
Culture can make its plan, Oh, but the line never changes
No matter how the deception may fly, There is one thing that has always been true
    It will be true forever

    God is in control
We believe that His children will not be forsaken
    God is in control
We will choose to remember and never be shaken
There is no power above or beside Him, we know
God is in control, oh God is in control

He has never let you down, Why start to worry now?
He is still the Lord of all we see. And He is still the loving Father
    Watching over you and me

    watching over you…watching over me..
    watching over every things..
    watching over you..watching over me..
    every little sparrow..every little things…

    In Him,

    Alan

My letter to Pastors of Australia.

I would love to know how many Pastors out there have given messages on the Rapture and the Second Coming where Jesus will rule on this earth.

I would sadly guess only just a handful. What we also must understand is that the devil does NOT want this type of messaged preached. Why? simply because a message like this would stir hearts… people would get their lives in order with our God as a matter of urgency…YES urgency. Or…Hey they may even try and get their family and friends to church.

    Rev 1:3

Blessed [is] he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time [is] at hand.

Most messages preached in todays churches altho very good ever seems to go anywhere near the last book of the Bible. To me the best book of all.

So once again why does this happen. Well there is only one answer and that is the devil attacks within our churches. But not in a manner we may think. He works on society first. WE CAN NOT SAY ANYTHING THAT MAY OFFEND A PERSON…WE DO NOT WANT TO STEP ON TOES. So this somehow works it’s way into churches. So all I see is the softly softly approach.

The world talks about “climate charge” our Pastors need to have a “climate charge”in the church.

So to Pastors of Australia it is time to start to wake up your church and get them ready. For you only will stand before the Lord and he will ask…why?

    Bless you all.

    John

The following letter was received via email to the CTF office as a result of the recent Media Release:

    Hi Light FM Team,

I am writing to show my concern for the sermon preached over Light FM (Melbourne Christian based Radio Station 89.9) on this past Sunday. The preacher made reference to a pastor who attributed the recent bushfires to the wrath of God. The preacher continued to present a case for a loving God and that since the death of Jesus we are all forgiven for our sins and that God would not do that. From memory I believe he even made references to other ‘natural disasters” such as the Tsunami.

As a born-again Christian I know the redeeming power of the blood of the lamb. I draw your attention to the times we are in, “The End Times”, and the following scriptures from the Holy Bible of what is to come and that we as Christians are to fear not these things that need to come to pass.

    Famine; Revelation 6:5-6; Matthew 24:6-7

    Disease Epidemics; Revelation 6:7-8

    Heavenly Signs; Revelation 6:12-17

Destruction of Vegetation; Revelation 8:7 – if this doesn’t apply to the bushfires as pouring out the wrath of God then I know of no other passage in scripture! The fires were started by lightening and arsonists but lightening, I believe, is an Act of God

Devastation of ocean and sea life; Revelation 8:7

Devastation of rivers and fresh water; Revelation 8:10-11

    Torturous human afflictions; Revelation 9:1-12

Seven Last Plagues; Revelation 15:1, 16:1-21

Yes we have a mighty God capable of many things but the preacher who gave his sermon on Sunday was divisive and critical. I have been to many of Pastor Danny Nalliah’s meetings and have borne witness to his fruit.

It is a shame that the churches are so full of pride they cannot give credit to a man whose prophetic dream back in October of 2008 was not taken as a warning, for we are in the End Times and God will do whatever He needs to do to bring the “Church” together and united.

I would either expect an apology from the preacher or a disclaimer from Light FM that you do not agree with the criticism level;led from the sermon last Sunday. For if the preacher who gave the sermon is a ‘man of God” then he should know his scripture better. Light FM would also be prudent to review the sermon and additionally send an apology to Pastor Danny Nalliah.

    God Bless, In Christ,

    John, from Phillip Island Victoria

    Dear Pastor Danny,
Thank you for stirring up our conscience and urging us to seek God with our whole heart. I personally don’t know if your revelation and interpretation is God’s full picture concerning the fires in our district. But you have challenged me to seek God and be open for a greater understanding of God as He is revealed in the Scriptures. As I searched the New Testament I discovered a number of times that judgement came on individuals and strong warnings were given to churches. Acts 1 speaks of Judas and his seeming judgement. Acts 5 speaks of a married couple who lied to the Holy Spirit and tried to deceive the church. They were judged.
Acts 12 tells of a heathen King who was judged by God and died a horrible death. Acts 13 speaks of a false prophet who was judged by the power of the Spirit of God. 1 Cor 5 speaks of an immoral man who was judged by Paul and the church, who then repented and was brought back into fellowship with God’s people. 1 Cor 11 speaks of some who were judged in the church who got sick, became weak christians, and some even died prematurely. And we are warned that we need to judge ourselves or the Lord will judge us. 1 Peter 4:17 speaks of judgement beginning at the house of God. And Rev 1,2,3 speak of strong warnings to 7 churches and the need to repent or face dire consequences. In fact the whole book of Revelation speaks of strong warnings, judgements and suffering ahead for those not humbling themselves and trusting Jesus and obeying Him.
I personaly am not sure about your Word, but I must say that for myself and our church, we are looking afresh to the Scriptures and the wonderful Holy Spirit to bring back the reverential fear of the Lord in our midst.
We will be praying for you that you listen to the Lord and are obedient to His call. Ultimately His councel will stand, we must all be obedient to the vision from heaven.
Thank you for your openness and vulnerability. We will pray. Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right. Gen 18.
    Barry.

So John from Phillip Island….. when can I expect to see these plagues arrive? I agree that humans have been causing damage on a large scale to our environment and we perhaps all need a good wake up call. From my many discussions with friends etc I do think we are becoming more and morte aware of our impact upon this planet. Remembering though that the Earth is many billions of years old and the geological record shows periods of great disturbance and huge shifts in climate. Thats what happens with evolution…. it just goes on and on. Eventually, humans will die out but life will continue, it always finds a way. As to your god having sent the recent bushfires or any other natural phenomenum you care to mention, I can assure you that that is not the case. After all, there is no god, never has been and never will be. The bible was written by men as a tool to exercise power and control over others. It is a political work of fiction.

Having said that, I accept, tolerate and will defend your right to be able to worship as you see fit, however to support statements that claim that events that continue to happen around the globe are a “punishment” or “sign” from a god is nothing if not insensitive and heartless.

Off the topic, if so many pastors and leaders go on about how the Old Testament isn’t relevant, then why do they/we preach from it… if they think it’s not relevant, why don’t they rip the whole old Testament out? So were not under the Old Covenant… but yet under the new covenant we can still sin and pretty much do what ever we want…. only until judgement day????????

  31. Its time

Yes Danny, 100% agree with you – please keep shouting it aloud.

The church is the worlds prophet, but like Jonah is largely asleep on the boat to Tarish, while the world is being tossed to and fro in great storms. If they wont wake up and preach the full gospel message , the world turn on them and throw them overboard. Like Jonah it may take great trials and persecution before the church in Australia awakens to its mission and full message.

The half gospel of flashy modern churches, and the traditions of men of litergical churches, must stop now and return to the full gospel of the bible, and the move of the Spirit of the Book of Acts. There is a Heaven to be won and a hell to shun for billions!

    Hello Danny,

We have seen much division within the body of Christ recently over the prophetic ream which you (Danny) had in relation to the Victorian bushfires and the interpretation of the said dream.

It is very sad when the people of our nation cannot acknowledge the murder that is happening in our nation in particular to babies.

It is also very sad when the Christians of our nation are still stuck in apathy and refuse to raise their voices for those who cannot speak up for themselves.

There has also been much speculation in regards to whether or not your dream and interpretation actually was from God.
There has also been much speculation as to whether you are really a prophet or not.

What my question to you is:

Where do we find in the Word of God anything about submitting our dreams, visions, and interpretations before man in order to see if it is allowed to be made public?
I am sure we are all familiar with the concept of the watchman. If God shows us something and we say nothing, and the thing comes to pass, then their blood is on your hands. If you were to submit this prophetic revelation to other members of the body of Christ, and they thought that it was not of God, and it came to pass, then dosen’t that mean that their blood will be on your hands?

I really cannot understand where this teaching of submitting what we have received from God to other men and women to be “Approved”.

Can you help me with this question that i have??

I pray for God’s blessing and peace and prosperity be upon you, the ministry that God has given to you to undertake at this time, i pray that you would be able to shake off the negative comments and accusations that fellow brothers in Christ are directing towards you. (I am not sure if they realize or not, but they may be actually be bringing about curses with their own tongues towards a fellow brother in Christ.)

    Thank you,

    Andrew

    Dear Ps danny,

My wife and I fully support youe statement on the Vic bushfires.

I believe that the giant hailstones and storms in Sydney and NSW are a result of the blatan homosexuals and mardi gras allowed thereways as wellas wanting to marry.

The blasphemous televsion shows we rarely watch are an abomination, and the secular media are anti Christian but nobody challenges them. We have God TV now.

I do send letters to the editor over the past 28 years about all these things aginst Christ and The Bible but most are not published nowadays and were about 15 years ago. God bless your stand on decency ,morality and God’s Word.
I am attacked even by fellow Christians at times for my letters.

Hi guys! Have lived in south aussie for 11 years amen! Am from vic, had a dream about the victorian fire on 15th july 2005, wrote it all down, made copies in paper, and sent it around the world, I was ignored, as, I was told, I am not cindy jacobs. Got it again in Aug 2006, once again, ignored, sent out copies about tragedies and fires in victoria, and, of course, I am not a well known prophet, so the religious spiirit ignored me. However, south aussies listened to me, and we formed a prayer group to come against the fire assignenment, by the way, it;s not God’s judgement, it’s it’s the devil, not God, that’s old testement garbage, read joseph prince’s book, destieigned to reign, you will be set free of the old testament religious demon. South aussie was spared, because we prayed. We had worst weather conditions, worst than you guys, I had the worst winds here, that i had to move everything, it was so bad here, but I knew we would be fine, as I knew the prayers that went out, and that the christians were in unity, and listened, amen! Unlike Victoria. Work it out. Only people born and bread here, work it out. If you aren’t born here, God help you, as you won’t get it from aussies who are 5 generations back, they get it, and thAT’S WHO GOD WILL USE, AMEN! BLESS YOU ALL, JULIE

I believe the Lord has said that He is looking for a Jonah to Ninevah
who will not run from his mission. Melbourne is in serious trouble. I
have before me the 23 names who voted for the Abortion Bill. I hear the
Lord also speaking with Abraham before the destruction of Sodom and
Gomorrah, and looking for the righteous in the city. Tomorrow is of
great concern, with 1,000 km of fire front surrounding Melbourne’s
outer suburbs, high winds and heat. If even a few of these 23 would
repent, the Lord would turn back His hand and restore protection to
Victoria. Is it too late for you to pray and contact some of these
leaders with blood on their hands. Praying the Lord speaks to you and
    confirms this. Shalom, Kathleen

  38. Tony McLeod

I’m becoming increasingly concerned with the number of shark attacks in Sydney waters. Surely it’s no co-incidence that their sinful Mardi Gras looms yet again. And with Clover Moore at the helm things can only get worse for the good people of Sydney. Will they never listen??

  39. Terence

As you know we in the UK are urging prayer for our country with regard to the abortion issue in view of what has happened and is happening in Australia. Here all parties are pro-abortion and have been for very many years but we desire to see change which only God can bring. Your Prime Minister seems very sombre and thought ful when he is shown on TV.

Very warm blessings from the Lord to you all, Love in the Lord Jesus Terence

    Dear Brother Danny,
I just received this article from a another Brother and was both Blessed and saddened. Blessed because there are Breathren who are willing to take a stand for the truth, yet saddened because our Loving and Long suffering Lord is being provoked by such evil’s to move with horrable judgment’s against Nation’s whom He Loves, and longs for our love back. One day soon, we shall see an end of all this wickedness at “the Glorious appearing of the Great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ”. Until then, keep preaching the uncopromising word of God,and continue to warn people to flee from the Wrath of God that coming! Truly the Party’s over!

  41. Karen Olsson

    Dear Pastor Danny,
I am an American from New Orleans, LA, as you know we also had a natural disaster, Hurrican Katrina. I recently became
a team member in a healing room for International Associations of Healing Rooms, with this came some new revelations
which support your article. Of course there was much discussion about why Hurrican Katrina hit and for years I really had
no idea but after a recent seminar on healing rooms the Holy Spirit led me to scripture in the Bible that gave a clearer vision.
Isaiah 28:15-18 You have made an agreement with death;17: I will use justice as a measuring line and goodness as the
standard. The lies you hide behind will be destroyed as if by hail. They will be washed away as if in a flood. Your agreement
with death will be erased.” New Orleans has allowed vodoo to continue to be part of the culture and was once one of
the largest cities of Satan Worshipers. The Lord was not joking when he said “I am a Jealous God” and any type of idol
worship comes with serious consequences. Our part as Christians is to take a stand and then stand firm on his Word.
When a Christan can truly grasp the concept of the ultimate “Holiness” of the Father and that he can not be in the
presence of SIN whether it is big or small, it makes the shear ugliness of sin easier to repent of. I believe the fires came
from the evil one and because of the sin of the land the Fathers Protection was removed. Yes we can stand in gap and
ask The Father to forgive the sins of the land and wash the land with the blood of Jesus but everyone has to accept
every action has a consequence. Your nation is to be commended on the fact that it withheld the murder of God’s
children until now and fight to get back their lives. Pastor, please do not let anyone change your course or zap your
energy, remember John 15:18 and when you please the Lord people that stand on the side of the enemy whether
they admit it or not will not be supportive of you as 1 John states, there can be no fellowship unless everyone is walking the the light (the truth). I will pray for you over here in America. I also suggest you
log on to the http://www.healingrooms.com and check out the information from Scott Norvill on how to cleanse the land
and how all diseases really are routed in either individual sin or ancestoral sin. I am saddened as I am sure you are
by (Hosea 4:6) “My people suffer for their lack of knowledge”. Keep fighting “Mighty Warrior”, the Lord is pleased
    with you.
