It’s with great joy that we wish to bring to your attention that the Australia Day National Prayer Gathering on Jan 26th 2012 from 10am to 1pm will be held at Scots Presbyterian Church in Melbourne City.

Our special guest speaker is Rev Dr Robert Carner who is the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria.
Pr Daniel stated, “This historic venue, which seats up to 800 people, is a God given opportunity and a great place for the Body of Christ to come together from all denominations and different ethnic backgrounds to pray for Holy Spirit revival, reformation and transformation of our nation Australia.”
Thanks for this awesome post. We are in need of a revival of the Church (Body of Christ) here in Australia. It would be awesome if we could unite as many Christians as possible annually to praise God! A great name for such a gathering could be something like Christians United for Christ and another idea is maybe to invite well-known Christian singers like Immanuel Kelly of X-factor and Stan Walker of Australian idols. Your current venue can house 800 people, but how great could it be if we can praise God at a Venue like the MCG? Would also be great if we can get a lot of media coverage and advertisements to all Churches that follow Jesus as their Saviour. We may also use this oppurtunity to invite people that don’t know God, but may be interested to find out more about our faith in Jesus.
