Testimony from Martha – 30, November 2008
Dear Pastor Danny and Catch the fire team
I give thanks to the Lord for such a great blessing; He has brought to me and my son through your ministry.
On the 27th of November 2008 I had an asthma attack which it was hard for me to breathe all night, I could barely sleep. I rebuked this disease in the name of Jesus, I prayed earnestly to God to deliver me from this terrible disease. The next day I only worked for about 3 hours and at night time 2 precious sisters in Christ prayed for me at Hallam prayer’s room, but nothing happened at that time.
Often came to my mind what the Holy Spirit made me read days before about “The Promised blessings for Obedience (Deuteronomy 28:1:14) and Promised curses for Disobedience (Deuteronomy 28:15-68).
(Deuteronomy 28:15,19,20-21 But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God and do not faithfully keep all his commandments and status I am giving you today, all these evil things will happen to you:.. The Lord will curse every thing you do, if you do evil and reject the Lord, He will bring on you disaster, confusion and trouble in everything you do, until you are quickly and completely destroyed.
He will send disease after disease on you until there is not one of you left in the land.
Deut 28:58-59:If you do not obey faithfully all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name THE LORD THY GOD, Then He will send on you and on your descendants incurable diseases and horrible epidemics that can never be stoppedâ€.
I needed to learn more about THE FEAR OF GOD (Psalm 34:11 come you children unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.) Proverbs 8:13 Fear of the Lord is to hate evilÂ
Disobedience is rebellion towards God’s Authority (1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is a sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is a iniquity and idolatry, because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has also rejected you…)Â
I knew in my heart this curse has been on my life before I got saved and now that I have come to Jesus with true repentance; not wanting to sin willfully against the Lord and surrendering myself totally to the Holy Spirit, with confidence in my heart
(1 John 3:20-21) I claimed the promised of Healing, which belongs to every true believer
Exodus 23:25 and you shall serve the Lord your God and He shall bless your bread and your water and I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
And I thanks the Lord in his great mercy and love, He healed me and I had a very sweet sleep that night and since Saturday the 29th of November 2008 I breathe very well PRAISE THE LORDÂ
Psalm 103:1-5 Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me.., and do not forget all his benefits, He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases ..
