Began after God placed in Pastor Danny's heart the desire
to do something about the millions of babies being aborted
around the world each year. The first baby saved through
this ministry was born on 2nd August 2000.
Our small, but faithful team of counsellors and prayer
warriors continue to speak into the lives of women finding
themselves in a 'crisis' pregnancy and we are still seeing
lives saved. Our motto, 'Save a Life, Save a Soul', reflects
that our aim is not just to save babies lives, but to also
look for every opportunity to be able to share our faith
with the women and families that we come into contact with.
The catch cry in society is that 'it is a woman's right
to choose what happens to the baby within her'. We believe
that if women have the right to choose, then they also have
a right to know the truth. They need to know that abortion
is not the only option. They need to know the facts about
the developing baby, the facts about the methods of abortion
and the side effects of abortion. They must know that it
is not a 'quick fix' solution - but often just the beginning
of a long and painful period of either physical, emotional
or spiritual suffering, or sometimes all three.
Proverbs 24:11-12 from the Word of God says, "Rescue
those who are unjustly sentenced to death; don't stand back
and let them die. Don't try to avoid responsibility by saying
you didn't know about it. For God knows all hearts, and
He sees you. He keeps watch over your soul, and He knows
you knew! And He will judge all people according to what
they have done."
God has called us to rescue the innocent. At Options Plus
care we see it as a privilege. It's very sad when we see
desperate women making their lives even more complicated
by going ahead with their abortions, but it is such a joy
to see others as they have the light turned on to see the
Truth.
