Israel’s 70th Anniversary Celebration at CTFM

Ps Daniel, his wife Maryse and the CTFM team were indeed blessed to see so many come and celebrate with us on the 13th evening (effectively the 14th of May as the Jewish calendar starts the day in the evening) for Israel’s 70th Anniversary. It is time to honour Israel and Jerusalem, its capital. Let’s stand with Israel!
Exodus 3:17 Israel the Land
And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
2 Sam 24-25 King David built an altar to the God of Israel in Jerusalem
24 And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
25 And David built there an altar unto the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord was in treated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.
It is written in Genesis12:3 …that those who bless Israel will be blessed..
Ps Daniel received a word from the Lord to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the re-establishment of Israel on May 14th, 1948. Although we had only 10 days to prepare for the event, the Lord prepared people for the day to support Ps Daniel. Many church members contributed something valuable in decorations, worship, invites, food after the meeting, cleaning etc.
The evening began with worship. We were all upstanding for the National Anthem of Australia followed by the National Anthem of Israel.
Ps Alex Cornercheski (from the Anglican Church) opened with the Lord’s Prayer. Followed by prayers for Israel, the IDF and the Middle East which were led by various pastors from well-known ministries.
Ps Jill Curry (Shnat Ratzon, Jewish Prayer Focus Ministry), Ps Enoch Lavender (from Shalom Israel) and PS Ruth Webb (Tabernacle of David, Bendigo), and Mrs Yvonne Gentle, Secretary RUAP prayed over Israel.
A short slide show of some of the photos taken in Beersheva of the CTFM’s Tour to Israel last year, to attend the 100 years of ANZACS, the Centenary Commemoration, was well received.
This was the 3rdCTFM tour to Israel led by Ps Daniel and Maryse. The Australian and New Zealand ANZACS victory in recapturing Beersheva in 1917 paved the way for the recapture of Jerusalem and subsequently the re-establishment of the State of Israel. Many in the audience saw for the 1st time the Beersheva War Memorial.
God provided an opportunity for us to honour the Australian and New Zealand soldiers who died in the Battle for Jerusalem with our fellow Australians. It was like they too came to Israel with us. There was also the official video of the Re-enactment of the Beersheva Charge in 1917.
Our special guest speaker for the evening was Dr Danny Lamm, President of the Zionist Federation of Australia, a long time personal friend of Ps Daniel. He is indeed a great speaker! He shared the whole history of Israel over the 70 years by key dates and events. We were blessed by his knowledge and message.

Ps Daniel, Maryse sends their personal thanks once again to Dr Lamm for such dedicated and loving service to the nation of Israel, over many years.
We also offer our sincere thanks to those who gave a free will offering to Israel.
God’s presence was with us throughout the event. A joyous evening of sharing, dancing and fellowship. We had also baked a chocolate and butter birthday cake decorated with the flags of Australia and Israel, two olive leaf twigs, one from the CTFM church garden and one twig from Caulfield.
3 symbolic jugs of milk, palm honey from Israel and bee honey from Australia. Most of the audience stayed for a bite of supper and a piece of cake, with milk and honey to remind ourselves of the Land of Israel, flowing with milk and honey. God’s word never fails! Dr Lamm said that the milk could also mean wine.
Our special thanks to the beautiful worship messianic kingdom songs led by Ps Reuben (CTFM worship Ps) the sound desks technicians and Ps John, (Pastoral Care Pastor CTFM) who said the closing prayer and blessings of Numbers 6:24-26. The Lord bless you and keep you and makes His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you and the Lord lifts up His countenance upon you and give you His shalom in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
A big thank you to Patricia Tan (CTFM-Prayer Co-ordinator for Israel) For doing great job as MC.
We also especially want to thank Ps Daniel and Maryse for standing with Israel. God has prepared a strong pastor and leader for Australia to stand with Israel.
Ps Daniel is indeed a faithful man of prayer with signs and miracles. The CTFM celebration was possibly the only one held in a church in all of Australia to celebrate Israel 70th birthday. Praise God.
Israel needs our love and support as their land is so much smaller. Our greatest need is the prayer for the salvation of the nation of Israel. Let’s keep praying for the peace of Jerusalem Ps 122.
Ps Daniel feels led by the Holy Spirit to anoint those who come for this Sunday’s service at 10am at CTFM with oil brought from Israel and pray a special blessing of God’s promises of Blessings, Freedom and Victory in Yeshua’s name.
Do Not Miss This Opportunity .
The service will be live webcast starting around 10.45am on this Sunday the 20th of May 2018. You can watch it on www.reformationharvestfire.com
